Reliance Industries Limited has announced plans to enhance its 5G network using smart spectrum, beam management, and AI/ML-based energy efficiency. This is expected to save up to 40% of battery life on smartphones and provide better data speeds and a more stable network. These changes are expected to roll out next year.

JioTV OS and Jio TV+ have just been announced and they are bringing some big improvements. JioTV OS, a homegrown operating system, offers Ultra HD 4K video playback, personalized experiences, and AI-powered voice assistant. Jio TV+ integrates Live TV and OTT apps, introducing a recommendation engine, catch-up feature, and play-pause for Live TV.

Jio has introduced three new JioTV Premium plans for prepaid users, which will act as a one-stop solution for access to multiple OTT apps like JioCinema, Disney+ Hotstar, Amazon Prime Video, and more. These plans can be purchased by new and existing Jio prepaid users, starting today.

Jio has launched the new Rs 909 prepaid plan in India, which comes with a free subscription of ZEE5 and Sony Liv OTT platforms, along with a number of more benefits.
