WhatsApp Web is set to add a Chat Lock feature in as reported by WABetaInfo from the latest update. This feature allows users to hide and lock individual chats on the platform, which will be accessible through a separate tab and protected by a passcode. This feature is already available in the mobile version of the app and will provide a uniform and secure experience no matter which device you use.
The latest WhatsApp Beta version 24.2.10.73 for iOS shows that the messaging platform has started work on adding passkeys support for iPhones and iPads.
