As per a new report from Bloomberg, Xbox is planning more layoffs at their ZeniMax studios, which they purchased for $7.5 billion in 2020. Moreover, Xbox president Matt Booty claimed that the reason for the shutdown of three studios was them being understaffed, thus, prompting a restructuring. The Xbox team is of the opinion that the resources should be allocated to other prominent projects.

Microsoft has officially announced that the next Xbox Games Showcase will take place in June 9, 2024 at 10 am PT/ 1 pm ET. The showcase will be followed by a [REDACTED] Direct, that multiple sources have confirmed to be a Call of Duty Direct.

We finally have a look at the rumored all-digital Xbox Series X, as images surface online. The rumored upcoming console from Microsoft sports the same boxy form-factor of the original Xbox Series X. Except, this time it sports a white paint-job, and no disc drive.

Microsoft has announced Mouse and Keyboard feature for Xbox insiders if they game via Xbox Cloud Gaming. He believes console's closed ecosystem should be abolished, as console sales are dwindling, and game sales subsidization barely helps recoup the cost.

After addressing the leaks of Xbox games ports, Xbox will host its 'Special Edition' podcast on Thursday 15th February. This podcast will feature Microsoft Games CEO, Phil Spencer, Sarah Bond, the recently appointed President of Xbox, and Matt Booty, the Head of Xbox Game Studios.
