Apple has today confirmed the dates for the much-awaited Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) for 2025. WWDC 2025 has been scheduled for June 9 to June 13. We will see Apple unveil new OS upgrades, including iOS 19, macOS 16, watchOS 12, and more.

The European Union officer has given Apple the green light to create a portless iPhone. They mention that a device without a charging port doesn't need to comply with the Common Charger Directive. This means a portless iPhone could be released next year, charging through MagSafe.

Apple is working on redesigning the look and feel of their operating systems across iPhones, iPads, and Macs. With iOS 19, iPadOS 19, and macOS 16, the company is planning to change the style of icons, menus, apps, windows and system buttons to closely tie the UI elements with that of its visionOS. If this in indeed true, iOS 19 and iPadOS 19 will be the biggest updates to iPhones and iPads since iOS 7 from 2013.

Apple has today announced the new MacBook Air powered by the M4 chipset starting at a lower price of $999 and a new Sky Blue color.

Apple has released two new iPads: the iPad Air with an M3 chip and the 11th-gen iPad with an A16 Bionic processor. The iPad Air features a 20% performance boost and a new Magic Keyboard accessory. Pricing starts at $599 for the 11th-gen iPad and $799 for the 13-inch iPad Air.

Apple has launched the iPhone 16e, a mid-range phone with a familiar design and high-end internals. It include a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED panel, A18 processor, 8GB RAM, and 48MP rear camera. The phone starts at $599 for a 128GB variant and is available in three colors.

Along with the new iPhone 16e, Apple has also unveiled Apple C1, the first Apple developed modem to overtake Qualcomm.

On Thursday, Apple CEO Tim Cook shared a post on X announcing the release date of the upcoming iPhone SE 4 which is set to debut next week and will be available for purchase by the end of the month. The phone could be renamed to iPhone 16E given Cook’s caption for the post but we are unsure about that.

Apple is developing a new "metalens" technology for its Face ID components that will essentially minimize the size of the Dynamic Island on the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro Max. This new tech will feature an optical lens with microscopic nano-structures that will be able to manipulate light so that it can take up lesser space at the top of the iPhone's display.

Apple is gearing up for the much anticipated launch of the iPhone SE 4 and from what it seems, the next iteration will be announced in February itself and that too, sometime next week. The next entry-level iPhone will come with the A18 chipset, Apple Intelligence, a 6.1-inch OLED display with a notch and Face ID, a main 48MP camera on the rear, and a 12MP selfie shooter.

Noted Apple leaker Majin Bu has posted a video showing the design of the upcoming iPhone SE 4. The clip shows the budget iPhone in white color with a single rear camera and a USB-C charging port. However, it does not clearly show whether the iPhone SE 4 will arrive with a Dynamic Island or notch.

Just a couple of months after the iOS 18 public release, Apple appears to be working on the next major update. As per a recent report, the company is set to redesign the Camera app on iOS 19 with minimal controls that doesn't hinder the viewfinder and the overall experience. If this is true, you'll only see two tabs - Photo and Video when you launch the app and subsequent options will pop up when you tap on them.

Apple is working on a new app named 'Invites' which could be used to organize meetings and event invites, as per iOS 18 code.

Apple has agreed to pay $95 million to settle a 5-year-old civil lawsuit that accused the Cupertino tech giant of using Siri to eavesdrop on people with iPhone and other Apple devices. If approved, the impacted users will get up to $20 per Apple device for up to five Siri-enabled devices, such as the iPhone and Apple Watch.

According to Mark Gurman, Apple is working on a smart doorbell and lock system with Face ID. The doorbell would wirelessly connect to a compatible deadbolt lock and allow users to unlock the door with Face ID automatically. The device is still in the development stages and is likely to hit the market by the end of 2025, if Apple doesn't face any obstacles during development.

In an interview with WIRED, Apple's CEO Tim Cook mentioned that charging for AI features has never been on the table. Cook also talks about how Apple sees AI as a foundational technology. Apple won't charge you for AI, but you have to invest in a compatible iPhone, iPad, or Mac to use those AI-driven services.

Apple is no longer planning to launch its long-rumored iPhone hardware subscription service. The Cupertino tech giant was initially supposed to launch its hardware subscription service by the end of 2022, but the project faced several setbacks due to software bugs, regulatory concerns, and other issues. Now, the team which was working on the hardware subscription model has been moved to other projects.
