This is the problem Facebook and the Zuckerberg bots have the monopoly on Social Media and that’s why he can get away with taking such liberties with data harvesting and so fourth, because there isn’t an alternative that can be used, so until someone comes up with a workable free SM idea, there will be no way of knocking Zuckerberg off his perch

  • Colin Rea says:

FBwankers don’t like the truth about jews, muslims, catholics or any other religious fucktards. Why is there no proper alternative to fbwankers? Because your governments want it that way.

    • Ann Joy says:

      Why is that, Marc?

  • Erika Domnick says:

Woke up this morning and I’m banned on FB, for life, it appears. Must have posted too much truth last night, lol. Oh well…I’m gonna consider it divine intervention. Thank you Jesus, for pulling me away from the demons that aim to censor, divide, and destroy the free thinking world. Wish I would have gotten some people’s addresses! I like writing letters anyway. F Facebook!

  • Censorship is killing information says:

This isnt helpful for people looking to share truth and articles that have been banned by the fedbook nazis.

You tube is also starting to censor information and control the narrative of all its content, it’s a nazi organization as well.

    • haha says:

      More like stopping misinformation.

      • Greg says:

Who decides what is misinformation, AND who verifies what the “Fact Checkers” say. What if there are qualified alternative views or research that counters the point?
There is an obvious problem with “Fact Checkers” that are biased and it is far too open to abuse by those that would force their views upon others.

Memes are shared all over FB! is there an app out there where groups of like minded people can come together and chat real-time? There use to be a program YEARS ago called Pow-Wow. GAB.AU is off line- temparary, I hope.
Whilst Facebook is willing to host Muslim extremist groups, anything remotely right-of-centre is prohibited.
I got bans of one month for saying the truth regarding manchester politicians ( later expressed in the newspapers ) regarding the nightclub bombings.
The last straw was when someone posted “I’m glad you’re ols-you’ll be dead soon ” and i retaliated in kind.
    Yet another month’s ban !
Perhaps one day, the authorities will investigate the tie-up between Facebook and Google.
Too many times havie i Google searched a item, only to have the thing i was searching for turn up on Facebook in their ‘groups that might be of interest’ section.- too many times for it to be couincidental.
Since i have removes all instances of Facebook and Google from my main computers, i have had no ‘tracking’ or location based advertising whatsoever.
I must comment that i found no extreme right wing activity on GAB whatsoever- but then, I was’nt looking for it .

      • jane says:

It’s not just conservatives being censored. try calling trump’s 4 oldest out for acting like white trash at queen’s palace when they weren’t even invited. 30 days in FB jail! called it hate speech. but you can post ugly racist derogatory caricatures, they’ll leave those up! • Debbie K. says:

Hi everyone, There is another facebook like site called INFINITYSN. They are not judgmental and allow you to post whatever you want including political views. Please check it out. They have a lot of people on there that have post photos and opinions that are not censored like facebook does to people. You can use your android phone to go to play store and and download their app. You can also download to your comuter too if you like. That’s what I did. I too was sick of Facebook censoring and booting people off because they have different views and opinions that the FAR LEFT facebook people have.
Its worth a try to check it out and if you don’t like it then uninstall it. INFINITYSN APP
When I first went on the INFINITYSN site it was a little difficult to find things and make a profile but they have made improvements and it is so much better. Try it and let me know what you think.
P.S. They also have a HOW TO PAGE on YOUTUBE to show you how to navigate this website and set things up.

    • Sheila says:

Thank you I just got booted of Facebook and I am done

  • Jason Clark says:

Sidenet.com – a social website for meeting new people, not for dating. It’s lightweight, does not collect any secret data, and concentrates only to personal communication with other real people.

  • FunkerTactical says:

I had bad Experience today with FACEBOOK. they disable my account without prior notice due to security reason. I had experienced back then some person hacked my account facebook didn’t do anything now someone for the 2nd time did this and post something and boom. my account since 2009 gone for good. I asked them and said it is final.

    • Jim McCarthy says:

Don’t feel bad – they just shut me down, probably for the same “security” reason, after I attracted 122,000 followers from all over the globe, in 4 years and 28 days. All people who had/loved dogs of the Shih Tzu breed (or an endless variety of ‘mixes’). Our purpose was to promote rescues/adoptions/fostering of these beautiful pups. Do you suppose the world is now safer? Do you feel more secure? My website (Shihtzumania.com) is still up and running, but no one in my household does FB anymore 🙁

      • Laura says:

Jim, Sorry to hear that.. Facebook does not care about anything except if you believe in Sharia.!

      • SLG says:

Wow, Laura…what a stupid thing to say. Let’s just do exactly what fb does and “label” what we think is true and stereotype a person from a group because we had a bad experience. Not all people who are Muslim, Jewish, Liberal or Conservative etc are bad…smh..

      • Rudy says:

I tried to sign up yesterday and had a problem. I sent e mail under “contact” and as yet today have received no response.

  • Marc Chinama says:

    New, and growing.

  • Ron Milb says:

Yes, I have some strong opinions on politics, religion, and other such “stuff” – as I am sure many others do as well. And when (or if) I want to share them I can go find some discussion site devoted to that. Although, in my experience, people seldom willing to put down their own bullhorn long enough to actually consider the validity of an opposing viewpoint is rare to vanishing, that is usually time not well spent anyway. So, I don’t care which way FB leans or censors.

What I wanted with FB is a place to keep up with friends and family. Maybe view/post pics of the kids or places that have recently given me a warm feeling. That sort of stuff… And with the revelations about FB, I guess I’m still looking.

  • samir says:

websmyle.com is the new social networking website to meet new people

  • Ramanjaneyulu Thumma says:

    Nyc

    • Magda says:

Laura I have not had the sharia experience in Facebook to which you keep referring. I have discovered though a sickening proliferation of child porn and groups where adult men choose their favourite young boy!! Yes, all on Facebook. I reported many photos (one showing a naked bruised boy child lying on a bed) and sexual comments from men. Facebook refused to remove any of the photos and very few of the comments. This is why I feel unable to stay on the platform.

  • David says:

It is not ready for prime-time.
For example, when responding to ‘connect requests’ and going to look at the person sending the request you get a blank page saying you are not authorized to look at that profile.
Plus, I don’t see what makes this that much more secure than FB except that it is not as big and powerful yet.
There needs to be a fundamentally different model where the community somehow owns and protects the control of the code and data.

    • CW Boogaart says:

I have a 30+ websites on different platforms, and I think SMF could be a more or less ideal platform, partly because near unlimited child boards e.g. from world>continents>countries>regions/provinces/counties>municipalities>towns/villages>areas and or streets for rss feed news . (local)moderators and combined with chat you can chat with whoever is in a certain (child) board without disclosing data (except the moderators-webmasters who have to be member to moderate/adminster) . Every member has a profile page, and can send pm’s to other members besides the mentioned chatoption, it has also a portal with frontpage.Cause it’s UTF-8 it can handle every language, and I myself put a google translate button on my dutch or english pages so it can be read in as many languages as google translate has (and yes that works cause i get traffic from ALL those countries) . Sofar I have a smf for local use, one for national and others on several subjects.

  • Marc Chinama says:

Have you actually given it a try? I don’t know what happened, but others are getting on with no problem. Please contact me and I would be happy to go through it with you, but you’re wrong about the site and I am more than happy to help you. I’m on it right now. Contact me.

    • David says:

As I said I tried many times. Maybe they changed something to try to make sure people added what they wanted in that field or something. It is just a text field but nothing I entered seemed to satisfy its hidden requirement…

      • Marc Chinama says:

I don’t get it. Many have tried with no problem. Are you David last name start with an S? Also, please allow me to go through it for you. I will even set it up just so I can see what you’re talking about. That is if you already created a profile.

    • David says:

No, I was not able to continue as hard as I tried.
It said something about illegal characters in the location field and would not let me continue. All I had in that field were the names of cities and such with spaces. Maybe you need to look at the error checking on that field.
It is best practice to accept whatever characters are entered and move on or if you are going to block a user from proceeding to explain exactly what was found that is illegal.

      • Marc Chinama says:

I am lost because it does accept characters in that field, especially if it is a legitimate city and state. If you can do me a favor. Can you please go to the contact on the site, give me your information and let me create a profile for you. This way I can see for myself what is wrong. I would need your DOB, full name, email address, political preference, race, education, occupation, relationship status and that should be it.

    • Lisa says:

wow, you seem scammy Marc. Maybe you should take “no thank you” as an answer! I was interested until you started pushing so hard, now I’m just suspicious.

    • Steve says:

Just tried to set up account. What a joke.

      • Dan says:

I had a bit of an issue trying to set up my account as well. It took me three tries. I think it was my password that was the issue. It wouldn’t accept symbols.

      • Devlyn Boxford says:

        Marc Chinama
Proof that 95% of the people in this world are self-serving con artists.

  • June Spence says:

I STARTED OUT YEARS AGO WITH MY SPACE….NOW, IT’S JUST NOISE BETWEEN THE MUSICIANS…I WANT A PLACE WHERE I CAN SHARE THE GOOD STUFF, FAMILY, FRIENDS, WITHOUT SOMEONE TELLING ME WHERE TO GO AND WHAT I CAN OR CAN’T SAY….

  • Brian C. Ragland says:

I am done with Facebook for all of the above stated reasons. I am looking for a FB type platform which remains politically neutral and allows all users to express their views.
