Pokemon GO events for September 2024 are chock full of some amazing stuff as the Max Out season makes its entry. From classic Pokemon Raids to the Pokemon GO Big event, there's a lot in store. Keep reading to check them all out.

Lileep, the Rock/Grass-type Pokemon is the second Pokemon joining the monthly Spotlight Hour for the game. It will take place on 13 August, 2024, from 6 PM to 7 PM, and you can encounter Lileep and its shiny variant. Furthermore, you will also get 2X catch candies per capture for the Pokemon throughout that duration.

With the advent of the day-long Adventure Week Taken Over event in Pokemon GO, a brand-new Special Research Task has appeared. If you've finished the previous Team GO Rocket Special Research events in-game, you will automatically get this five-part research when you open the game, and you have until September 3, 2024 to get this event.

Pokemon GO Routes are a pre-determined pathway where you can walk to encounter special Pokemon. Walking Pokemon GO routes rewards players with special items like Zygarde cells and Pokemon catching rewards like Poke Balls, etc. Players can even create their routes in Pokemon GO provided they're approved.

Mega Aerodactyl is the latest Pokemon to join the monthly Mega Raids. It will be available from August 3 to August 12. The Mega Aerodactyl weaknesses include Electric, Ice, Rock, Steel, or Water-type Pokemon. As such, if possible, bring a Blastoise, Xurkitree, or Swampert.

The Drilbur Spotlight Hour in Pokemon GO will take place on 6 August 2024 from 6 PM to 7 PM for an hour. During this time, you can capture Drilbur and, on rare occasions, its shiny variant more frequently and earn 2x Catch XP per catch!

Togedemaru is the last Pokemon joining the Pokemon GO Spotlight Hour, starting at July 30, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM local time. During this time, you can capture this Pokemon quite frequently, and even get a chance of capturing its shiny variant.

The Pokemon GO spotlight hours for August 2024 have been revealed, featuring Drilbur, Lileep, Mankey, and Magnemite. You can participate in the Spotlight event every Tuesday from 6 - 7 PM local time.

The Ultra Unlock: Better Together event is one of the last major events in Pokemon GO for July, starting on July 17, 2024, at 10:00 AM local time and ending on July 22, 2024, at 08:00 PM local time. During this event, Tandemaus and its evolved form, Maushold debut and a host of Pokemon will frequently appear worldwide.

The Pokemon GO Binacle Spotlight Hour will start on July 16, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM local time. During the Spotlight Hour, you can get 2x candies for every transfer, evolve Binacle, and even encounter a Shiny Binacle.

Pokemon GO's Scorching Steps event is your chance to encounter Fire-type Pokémon until June 25th, 8:00 p.m. local time. Komala is a Normal-type Pokemon in Pokemon GO. You can catch this Pokemon and even a shiny Komala by participating in the paid time event Slumbering Sands in June 2024. The Pokemon GO Slumbering Sands event is here and back with its own set of collection challenges. This event's collection challenges involve catching four Pokemon and evolving another four to receive a Komala encounter, 5000XP and 2500 Stardust as rewards.

If you have a Fighting Pokemon in your team, you can utilize its strengths which include being strong against Normal, Rock, Steel, Ice, and Dark-type Pokemon. On the flip-side, avoid fighting any Flying, Psychic, and Fairy-type Pokemon. And, if your fighting Pokemon is up against a Rock, Bug, and Dark-type, rest assured they will withstand any attacks from these monsters.
