GTA 6 is the most anticipated video game of all time. The game has been announced for more than three years and is finally releasing in under three months. However, Rockstar has been tight-lipped, sharing only the bare minimum of details so far. So, fans were waiting for the GTA 6 Extended Look on Netflix for the first look at the gameplay.
Ahead of the extended gameplay reveal, GTA 6 leaks have been running rampant online for over a week now, and it’s all because of the notorious leaker who goes by the name CyberLeek. The leaker has rejuvenated the hype around Grand Theft Auto 6 by sharing gameplay video, showing off some of the brand-new mechanics, combat, driving, strip clubs, and more. Each new GTA 6 leak reveals fresh details about Rockstar’s highly anticipated sequel.
With the Extended Look right around the corner, the leaker shows no signs of slowing down. So, to keep you in the loop, here’s the full GTA 6 leaks timeline, detailing all 11 major leaks and gameplay details.
Full Timeline of All GTA 6 Gameplay Leaks

The leaker, Cyberleek, began the string of major GTA 6 leaks on August 18, 2026, and has since released a steady stream of new gameplay footage with bits and pieces of story cutscenes.
With that said, here’s the full GTA 6 leaks timeline. We will update this list as more videos surface from the game:

August 24: Nudist Town Leak in Grand Theft Auto 6
Yet again, CyberLeek has come through with his promise and released new GTA 6 gameplay, and this time it’s wildly NSFW. Titled “Nudist Town,” the clip showcases Jason, one of GTA 6’s dual protagonists, hanging around a nudist hub where everyone’s naked from top to bottom.
Clearly, Rockstar isn’t holding back with the nudity, as Jason sizes up everyone in the area with his binoculars, and the details are, well, shockingly real. Everyone is enjoying themselves, clothes-free, whether it’s dancing or drinking.
Towards the end of the clip, a woman charges at Jason, sizing him up, and of course, it ends in a bloodbath. Jason grabs and tackles the woman into a swimming pool and starts firing in the entire area. Some people tried to flee the scene, others tried to surrender, while most of them bit the dust.

August 23 Leak 2: GTA 6 Plane Video (Night)
The GTA 6 leaker released two gameplay leaks on August 23, 2026, with the latest one, titled “Plane (Night)”, showcasing Jason flying another Crop Duster over Vice City and Leonida. The clip revealed that GTA 6 will feature a fishing mechanic at various spots, similar to Red Dead Redemption 2.
GTA 6’s radio stations also appeared in this leak, but overall it was a pretty basic leak, all things considered. However, flying through Vice City at night looked gorgeous thanks to the cinematic camera, a staple in Rockstar’s open-world outings like GTA 5 and RDR 2.
August 23 Leak 1: Gas Station and Wasted Screen
The ninth GTA 6 leak, titled “Gas,” was released on August 23. It featured Jason riding a truck to a gas station and stealing another vehicle there. The vehicle owner triggers the QTE before Jason leaves, but ultimately fails. Then, in true GTA fashion, Jason kills the vehicle owner by running him over with his own truck.
However, in the very next moment, Jason collides with an incoming car and kills himself, giving us our very first look at the GTA 6 Wasted screen. The clip ends with Jason taking a leak at a restroom, with the objective “Return to Lucia” implying that Lucia is already unlocked as a playable character in GTA 6 by that point in the story.
August 22: Strip Club Leak
The GTA 6 leaker released the eighth gameplay clip leak named “Strip Club” on August 22, 2026, in continuation of the previous clip.
This video reveals one of the game’s Strip Club joints. In the leaked clip, Jason walks through the club packed with a variety of NPCs. We see strippers pole dancing and twerking throughout the club, as one would expect from such an establishment.
However, the NPCs in Grand Theft Auto 6 are extremely detailed, each with unique features and different behavioural patterns. Once again, the clip concludes with another story cutscene of Jason taking a leak and encountering a hobo in the restroom.
August 21: Hypercar Part 1 & 2 Leaks
On August 21, CyberLeek released the sixth and seventh GTA 6 leaks, both featuring hypercar gameplay. “Hypercar Part 1” showcased Jason stealing a supercar, giving us our first look at a QTE (Quick Time Event) system to combat retaliating NPCs from stealing their rides.
Jason then rides the hypercar throughout the city, listening to French Montana and Swae Lee’s ‘Unforgettable’ on GTA 6’s radio stations. Even at 720p, the clip looks gorgeous, offering a new look at Volumetric Clouds throughout the city along with GTA 6’s day-and-night cycle.
The “Hypercar Part 2” video includes the same hypercar, but this time, Jason robs a couple of convenience stores along the way. The Grand Theft Auto 6 video starts with Jason refuelling his vehicle at the Xero gas station and robbing a store, similar to what we’ve seen in GTA 6 trailer 2. In addition to the fuel mechanic, we also see an option to repair Jason’s hypercar.
Next, Jason heads into the gas station store, beats the cashier, and steals money from the cash register. Of course, a pop-up appears, stating that the staff won’t provide any services, as seen in Red Dead Redemption 2’s general stores and GTA 5’s convenience stores.
In the same clip, Jason visits another Xero gas station and heads into the Food Mart. Like in the previous store, Jason kills the store owner by one-handing a Girardi ES9 pistol and shooting it, a feature last seen in Rockstar’s previous GTA games like San Andreas and Vice City.
Near the end, Jason crashes the hypercar into a truck on a bridge, showcasing the destruction through the cinematic camera. The seventh GTA 6 clip concludes with Jason walking into a strip club at night.
August 20: GTA 6 Plane (Day) Leak
The leaker released the fifth GTA 6 gameplay video on August 20, 2026, and this unveiled a ton of information. The “Plane (Day)” video opens with Jason flying a Crop Duster, one of the many GTA 6 vehicles, from the Leonida Keys to Vice City. The plane ride gives us our first look at the sheer scale of the GTA 6 map.
This two-and-a-half-minute GTA 6 clip first revealed the game’s Volumetric Clouds, as seen in Red Dead Redemption 2, and the Stockyard FM radio station, which plays “Overpowered” by Roisin Murphy. The radio station also featured an “On Demand” option below the “Radio” option.
However, the most surprising part about the clip was the ending. CyberLeek ended the video with Jason shooting at a wall with a scoped rifle and spelling out “LEEK” with the bullets. This hinted at the GTA 6 leaker having a playable game build.
August 19 Leak 2: Junkies Video
CyberLeek’s full-fledged GTA 6 gameplay leaks carried on later in the day. After Taser, the leaker released a gameplay leak video, titled “Junkies,” on August 19, 2026.
The fourth GTA 6 gameplay leak showcased Jason’s melee combat with a hunting knife, bike-driving gameplay, and the return of fast-food joints. We also got our first look at the game’s weapon wheel and healing items like the Zombix Pill and the EpiPen.
In the clip, Jason encounters a bunch of NPCs under a bridge and attacks them with the hunting knife, performing the backhand slap showcased in the second GTA 6 trailer. The video also revealed a “Taunt” mechanic that appears to function similarly to the Greet/ Antagonize system from RDR 2. After killing the NPCs, Jason steals the cash from the bodies with the “Loot” option, as in RDR 2.
August 19 Leak 1: GTA 6 Taser Video Leak
The third GTA 6 gameplay leak, titled “Taser,” was released on August 19 and revealed nighttime gameplay with Jason raiding an Allied Crystal sugar refinery in Ambrosia.
This video gave us a look at Jason’s combat, a “disarm” mechanic, and taser gameplay. In the clip, Jason beats multiple security guards and escapes the sugar refinery by stealing another truck.
This leak confirmed the footage comes from a recent build, as the first GTA 6 radio song featured in the clip was “Sports Car” by Tate McRae, which was released in January 2025. The clip ended with a story cutscene, featuring a conversation between Jason and his friend, Cal Hampton, on a fishing boat.
August 18 Leak 2: Random Video 1 with Combat and Wanted System
The second leak, titled “Random Video 1,” was also released on August 18. It showed Jason driving around Leonida, the GTA 6 map, and bumping into different cars. The clip ends with Jason beating a delivery driver with a red wrench, one of GTA 6’s weapons.
From this clip, we got our first look at the 6-star Wanted Level system in GTA 6, returning to the series eight years after it was last featured in Grand Theft Auto 4.
Furthermore, this GTA 6 leak featured an honor system or a mood system, similar to the honor mechanic in Red Dead Redemption 2, that we couldn’t quite figure out how it works.
August 18 Leak 1: GTA 6 Basketball Video
On August 18, CyberLeek unleashed the first GTA 6 gameplay leak, kicking off the wave of footage that continues to surface today. The first GTA 6 leak, titled “Basketball,” showed Jason at his beach house.
We saw Jason walk around the house, pick up a basketball, and shoot hoops. This video also showed off the minimal HUD with two currency reserves: a wallet and home fund currency system in Grand Theft Auto 6.
Every subsequent GTA 6 leak began on this day, and you have CyberLeek to thank. Apparently, the leaker intended to pressure Rockstar Games and its parent Take-Two into apologizing for taking a digital-only approach with GTA 6.
For now, Take-Two is hunting the GTA 6 leaker while Rockstar remains silent on the matter. Speaking of Rockstar, they’re gearing up for the GTA 6: An Extended Look showcase premiering on Netflix on August 27, 2026. It will be available to stream on YouTube and Rockstar’s website six hours later.
