Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. GTA 6 also follows the multiple playable-character template that began in GTA 5. With the game featuring two playable protagonists, you should have the option to switch between them. We also know the game will follow a Bonnie-and-Clyde-style story, as showcased in the latest trailers. Now, let’s go over the details about GTA 6’s main protagonists, one by one:

Lucia Caminos

Lucia Caminos in GTA 6 is the franchise’s first Latina female protagonist. She is described as a relentless woman who won’t quit despite the challenges life throws her way. Her father taught her to fight from a young age. Unfortunately, the reason behind Lucia’s imprisonment is revealed to be a fight for her family.

Now Lucia Caminos is finally out of the Leonida Penitentiary and is ready to start a fresh life she has always dreamed of with Jason Duval. The latest footage from the GTA 6 extended look shows that Lucia is an accomplished driver, capable in a fight, and appears more observant than Jason in several situations.

As of now, Manni L. Perez is speculated to be the performer behind Lucia Caminos in GTA 6. Since there is no confirmation from Rockstar Games, Alexandra Cristina Echavarri and Leslie Lluvet are also possibilities for the role of Lucia’s voice actor/performer in GTA 6.

Jason Duval

Jason Duval in GTA 6 is the male protagonist and Lucia’s partner-in-crime. Like Lucia, Jason dreams of a peaceful life in Leonida. However, his troubled childhood keeps pulling him back into a life of crime. Jason is confirmed to be a former soldier who is working with local drug traffickers in Leonida.

The latest extended footage gives Jason plenty of opportunities to demonstrate his combat abilities. He appears comfortable handling firearms, moving through hostile environments, and improvising when situations become dangerous.

Jason aims to begin a new life after meeting Lucia, and the duo’s tale will be uncovered in GTA 6’s story campaign. Some speculate that he is part of the Leonida state police and will be a double agent. But nothing is confirmed at the moment. Fans also predict that the actor behind Jason’s role will be Dylan Rourke, after Troy Baker denied being in GTA 6.

Cal Hampton

Cal Hampton is the protagonist Jason’s close friend among all characters in GTA 6. Unlike the more ambitious criminals surrounding Jason and Lucia, Cal prefers chilling at home, drinking beers. He also spends much of his time eavesdropping on Coast Guard communications in Vice City in GTA 6.

He is comfortable where he is in life and is not looking to become someone who is a major player in the game. However, with the extended look released, rumors suggest that Cal is the one narrating the story. These rumors might be as true as Bobby Moynihan, the famous comedian and actor, being linked to voice Cal Hampton in GTA 6.

Boobie Ike

Next up, we have Boobie Ike, who made it to the top from living in the streets of Leonida in the early days of his life. Now, Boobie is a well-known local Vice City legend who owns numerous properties, a strip club, and a recording studio. Since Boobie is an important person operating in Vice City, he appears on the latest GTA 6 cover art.

Therefore, many of the locations on the GTA 6 map that we will be visiting might be Boobie’s properties. Real Estate isn’t the only business he is interested in, as he reportedly wants to deliver a hit album with Dre’Quan for his Only Raw Records studio.

Dre’Quan Priest

One would initially assume that Dre’Quan Priest is a gangster among the GTA 6 characters. But he is an aspiring musician who wants to make it big in the music industry one day. He grew up doing odd jobs in the streets and then working in Boobie’s strip club. However, after meeting Bae-Luxe and Roxy, he has his eyes set on becoming a musical star in Vice City next.

Real Dimez

Bae-Luxe and Roxy, the high school friends, are a popular rap duo, first spotted in the second trailer of GTA 6. Better known as Real Dimez, they started from the streets, and a collaboration with rapper DWNPLY took the duo to greater heights.

Now, Real Dimez are famous social media stars, and they recently signed to Only Raw Records. Together with Dre’Quan Priest, the rap duo wants to build a more successful career.

Recently, a Philadelphia-based actor’s online resume displayed working for Rockstar Games. So, there’s a theory that the actor named Yollecotte Jean might play as one of the members of Real Dimez. Although this GTA 6 cast member is just speculation, we might learn more about this soon.

Raul Bautista

Raul Bautista is one of the most interesting characters in GTA 6, donning a white blazer over a dark purple shirt identical to Lance Vance from GTA Vice City. He is one of the few GTA 6 characters who made it to the GTA 6 cover art, suggesting he has a bigger role to play in the story.

Raul is an experienced bank robber, currently looking for talent to continue his risky heists. Thus, Jason and Lucia may get connected with Raul Bautista in an earlier mission of the game. Rather than simply functioning as another criminal they encounter, he appears to be connected to a network of people who can provide a huge number of heist opportunities.

As of now, it is only rumored that Oscar Jaenada is linked to playing Raul Bautista in GTA 6. It is purely speculation due to the physical similarities that fans have noticed.

Brian Heder

Brian Heder represents an older generation of Leonida’s criminal underworld. He is an OG drug smuggler operating in the Keys since the peak era of drug trading.

He prefers his associates to handle the dirty work for him. Thus, Brian, along with his third wife Lori, continues his smuggling business by turning his boatyard into a base of operations. In case you didn’t know, Brian is Jason’s landlord who lets him live rent-free as long as he helps him out during crises.

Stephen Root is widely believed to be the actor behind Brian Heder. This theory became prominent after the GTA 6 Trailer 2, when fans started comparing Brian’s voice and appearance with Root.

Other Confirmed GTA 6 Characters

In the two trailers and the extended look released so far, we see many unique GTA 6 characters who are just NPCs from the game. However, some of the particular characters are shown as if they are essential to the story.

One such NPC is Stefanie G, a character employed by the Leonida Department of Corrections. Her significance in Lucia’s life post-release remains unclear. She is the first speaker in the GTA 6 trailer 1.

Although we know about only two playable characters, Rockstar had nearly started working with the idea of four characters in GTA 6. There were also some leaks that suggested two more characters, Billy and Kai, but they are from an old dev menu. And Rockstar Games later cut down the number of protagonists to just two. GTA 6 Returning Characters

Given that Grand Theft Auto 6 is set in Vice City, characters like Kent Paul, originally voiced by Danny Dyer, might reappear. Although Tommy Vercetti’s return in GTA 6 is improbable due to Ray Liotta’s passing. However, players can get revolvers with Vice City stylings sourced from the Vercetti Estate in the GTA 6 Ultimate Edition. So, players may not meet Tommy in GTA 6, but there is a chance to enter the Vercetti Estate.

The iconic Phil’s Ammu-Nation makes a return to GTA 6. Gamers spotted another clever GTA 6 easter egg in trailer 2: a man bearing a striking resemblance to the arms dealer, Phil Cassidy. Since this character in GTA 6 looks way younger and still has both arms attached to his body, he is expected to be either Phil Jr. or a reimagining of the firearms dealer from Vice City.

Ken Rosenberg, the paranoid lawyer, has appeared in almost all of the main GTA games. With GTA 6 taking us back to Vice City, there is a possibility that players may run into the criminal lawyer. Similarly, we can also expect Lazlow Jones, the longest-serving actor in GTA history, to have a cameo appearance in GTA 6.

In GTA Online, in the Safehouse in the Hills update, James “Jimmy” De Santa, Michael’s son, moves out of state. So, this moment led to heavy speculation that Jimmy is actually moving to Leonida, and we may get a cameo in GTA 6.

Lastly, leaked footage reveals a building labeled ‘Navaro Shipping Terminal,’ situated south of the Rockridge Neighborhood Service Center. This ‘Navaro’ refers to Ray Navarro, a minor character in GTA V employed by Devon Westin.

It’s worth noting that the in-game website for GTA V spells his name with only one ‘r.’ The leaked files also hint at the involvement of Jay Norris from GTA 5 (the former Life Invader CEO), which confirms that the GTA 6 universe is set in the HD era of GTA 4 and 5.

Rockstar Games has yet to reveal the voice acting cast of GTA 6. However, speculations about GTA 6 voice actors continue to emerge online every day.
