Intel has finally revealed a launch window for its upcoming lineup of Lunar Lake processors. Intel Core i9-14900KS has been released at a recommended customer price (RCP) of $699. This has a higher base power consumption of 150W, compared to 125W of the non-KS i9-14900K. The thermal velocity boost frequency is now 6.20 GHz, which is 200MHz higher than the non-KS processor. This is a special edition CPU from Intel compatible LGA 1700 motherboards, part of the 14th Gen Raptor Lake Refresh lineup.

The roadmap by the company suggests a 2024 release date for Intel Arrow Lake. Moreover, AVX512 instructions are disabled on this processor but that could be because of this Arrow Lake processor being an early engineering sample.
A new rumor states that Intel has canceled its plans to have a mobile dedicated GPU for laptops based on the latest Battlemage architecture. Now, we may only see Arc dedicated GPUs for desktops and none for laptops. Still, Battlemage could be used for integrated Arc graphics on laptops. The rumor also has details on release date of new Intel Arc graphics built on Battlemage architecture. Reportedly, Intel is targeting a Q4-24 or Q1-25 launch.

Next Unit of Computing (NUC) is a kind of small form factor personal computer which was sold by Intel. However, a spokesperson at Asus has now revealed that the NUC 13 Extreme made by Intel will not be updated. At CES 2024, Asus has launched three new NUC offerings. The ROG NUC is a compact gaming powerhouse with up to RTX 4070 graphics, and Intel Core Ultra 9 processor. Two other Mini PCs being the NUC 14 Pro and NUC 14 Pro+ have also been released by Asus.
On the ASUS website, Intel Core 'non-Ultra' processors have been spotted in upcoming Vivobook and Expertbook series laptops. Three CPU variants were revealed here, being the Intel Core 3 100U, Intel Core 5 120U, and Intel Core 7 150U. These Non-Ultra processors have not been talked about much, but we finally have some details on them.

Now, various Intel 14th Gen processors have surfaced online. The new leak shows specs and preliminary pricing of i9-14900, i7-14700, i5-14500, i5-14400, and i3-14100 processors. The F variants of these CPUs have also been spotted here. The leaked specs show slightly lower clock speeds than K variants and an included stock cooler.
Intel ExtraSS is an upcoming frame generation technology. It is expected to be open source, since it was tested on Nvidia's RTX 3090 graphics card. Intel's method of achieving FG is a little different from AMD and Nvidia, which rely on interpolation. Intel's vision will use extrapolation instead, and as a result ExtraSS could have better latency than current FG methods which use interpolation. The technology is currently under development.
