Back in 2017, a Type Ia supernova took place, which pushed the ESA to use the Hubble telescope to start studying a spiral galaxy called IC 438. Now, we get to see a close-up image of this very galaxy, as captured by the Hubble Space Telescope. This spiral galaxy is around 130 million light years away from Earth and lies in the Lepus constellation. For those unaware, previously, there were only two types of supernovae, namely Core Collapse and Type Ia. Back in 2013, the Type Ia supernova was discovered.

A group of researchers from Mohamed Bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence in Abu Dhabi developed a new AI tool to imitate human handwriting. Apparently, it just requires a couple of paragraphs to analyze the handwriting and copy it. Previously, generative adversarial method was used to mimic someone's handwriting. Although it worked great, it could not work on the subtle elements of a human handwriting. That's why they followed a vision transformer-based solution to formulate a handwritten text image generation approach. With this, the AI can be trained to accurately capture the essence of each human handwriting.

A new AI-powered Cowriter feature has been discovered for the Notepad app. It's currently in the testing phase as Microsoft has just added the placeholder in the latest Windows 11 Insider build. The upcoming Cowriter feature will let you rewrite content, make paragraphs shorter or longer, change the tone of the text, and change the format. There is also an "Explain with Copilot" menu in the context menu of the Notepad app. The feature will have a waiting list and a credit system for using the AI tool.
