Be it Mahito’s Self-Embodiment of Perfection or Gojo’s Unlimited Void, the sensation of hearing our favorite characters utter the words “Ryōiki Tenkai” gets us beyond excited for what’s to come next. So far, we have seen a fair share of domain expansions, however, fans have been ardently waiting for the reveal of the domain expansion of Yuta Okkotsu, the strongest sorcerers in Jujutsu Kaisen. Well, that day is finally here as Yuta’s domain expansion was first revealed in JJK Chapter 249. What is Yuta’s Domain Expansion?

After nearly 250 chapters, Yuta’s domain expansion was unveiled in the manga. Undoubtedly, it is one of the most powerful domain expansion techniques we have ever seen. It is named Authentic Mutual Love (Shingan Sōai) and is centered around his innate ‘copy’ technique.

Of course, while being connected with Rika, he unleashes his Domain Expansion with his ring. As the name suggests, to signify the theme of love, this domain expansion is embellished with katanas in cross-shaped construction ruins which are further surrounded by ropes like a tie knotted around the whole area.

How Does Yuta’s Domain Expansion Work?

Yuta is one of the four special-grade sorcerers, and as everyone expected, he unleashes a legendary domain expansion. As seen above, the katanas scattered around are not just for decoration. Here is how Yuta’s domain works to understand how ridiculously powerful it is:

• Every katana inside Yuta’s domain is imbued with the cursed techniques that he has copied so far in a random manner.
• However, until he picks one of these swords, he has no idea about which sword holds which technique. That’s what makes this domain all the more intriguing for both the user and the opponent inside. You will never know what’s coming next!
• Following Yuta’s selection of one of the katanas, the chosen sword’s technique is infused into the domain’s barrier, resulting in a guaranteed “can’t miss” hit to the opponent.
• Unfortunately, the katana gets turned into ashes once used by Yuta. However, on the bright side, Yuta can store unlimited katanas packed with copied techniques in this domain. Hence, he may practically never have to run out of them.

When Did Yuta Use His Domain Expansion for the First Time?

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 249 is the first time we ever get to witness Yuta’s domain expansion in all its glory. However, if you remember, Yuta activated his domain for the first time in his three-way battle against Takako Uro and Ryu Ishigori in the Culling Game arc. Since all three characters unleashed their domain expansion at the same moment, their guaranteed hits were instantly canceled as they overlapped one another.
