Sony has revealed a new automatic clip feature called 'Community Game Help' for the PS5. It will let players check community made hint videos. The videos will be created after a player creates a certain activity in supported games. Players can opt-in to feature from Captures & Broadcasts > Captures > Auto Captures > Community Game Help, by selecting the participate button. Community Game Help comes later this year with more supported games.

In a recent podcast, Digital Foundry has analyzed the specs of the upcoming PS5 Pro. In this discussion, they talk about the previous leaks from other sources and verify them. Tom Henderson shared an expected release window for PS5 Pro earlier when he confirmed the specs for the upcoming Project Trinity console. It now seems PS5 Pro's GPU upgrade will be significant with the upcoming console coming with 60 compute units.

The PS5 Pro leaks and rumors cannot catch a breath. In a new reveal we see CPU, System Memory, and Audio specs of the upcoming PS5 Pro. While the CPU remains the same, it will come with a "High CPU Frequency Mode" that boosts clock speed by 10%. The audio processing will be upgraded by 35% and add more details in processing. The System Memory will also receive a huge upgrade as it will potentially exceed 28% bandwidth compared to the standard PS5.

With the PS5 nearing its end-of-life, rumors of a PS5 Pro are heating up. YouTuber Moore's Law is Dead's leaked specs are confirmed by Tom Henderson, suggesting a holiday 2024 release for the more powerful console. The leaks suggest specs like PSSR, 45% faster rendering, 33.5 teraflops, and many more details.

Stellar Blade is releasing on April 26, 2024 and PlayStation revealed the combat mechanics of the game. According to the official website gameplay footage, Stellar Blade will have Basic attacks, Beta skills, Burst Skills, and Ranged attacks. Beta skill and Burst skills are related to the skill tree system that can be upgraded.

Sony has decided to lay off over 900 employees or over 8% of the company's employees at PlayStation Studios. Furthermore, London Studios will shut down completely amidst the layoffs. The decision was announced by Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Jim Ryan who took sole responsibility for it.

Xbox has now confirmed the four Xbox exclusives that are coming to Nintendo Switch and Sony PlayStation. Grounded and Pentiment will come to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch devices on February 22 and April 16 respectively. Hi-Fi Rush and Sea of Thieves will only come to PlayStation 5 and will release respectively on March 19 and April 30, 2024.

YouTuber Moore's Law is Dead has published a new video outlining details of a reported PlayStation Handheld gaming console. It is expected to be powered by an AMD APU, and according to sources the chipmaker has already scored contracts from Sony for the next-gen PS consoles. The new PlayStation handheld is in very early development according to the rumor.

In PlayStation State of Play, couple of remastered games are normal. However, the Until Dawn remastered/ enhanced version is far from just a graphics enhancement. As the game is rebuilt on Unreal Engine 5, we will get better VFS, a third-person mode, and new soundtracks to enhance the horror experience. The Until Dawn remastered/ enhanced version will be coming within 2024 on PS5 and PC.

The story of the game seemingly revolves around a depressed student who finds herself in another world. As she tries to escape this horrified reality, she is haunted through the maze of levels by an unknown entity. While there has been no release date shared, the game will be free-to-play for everyone. Furthermore, Silent Hill 2 is in development for PS5.

According to a gaming industry insider, the PlayStation game showcase event called State of Play might be returning this week on January 31st, 2024. As per the post of X(formerly Twitter), there will be games like Rise of the Ronin, Death Stranding 2, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Sonic Game, Silent Hill 2, Until Dawn Remaster, New Metro game, and Judas in the State of Play event.

Many gamers from all around the world (US, UK, Canada, France, and more) have come forward on social media platforms like X and Reddit, describing their issue. Apparently, terms of service were violated - however these gamers are not being told what exactly was violated. Sony has not yet acknowledged the on-going issue of PSN accounts being randomly banned.
