Phantom Blade Zero’s PS5 demo has leaked ahead of its dedicated State of Play showcase on August 17, 2026. A user shared an image of the PS Store page for Phantom Blade Zero’s demo on ImgBB earlier today. And before you know it, the page was already taken down.

The store page in the ImgBB image included the ‘Announced’ tag, even though neither PlayStation nor S-Game has confirmed or acknowledged its existence.

With the dedicated State of Play set for August 17, fans could see S-GAME announce a demo during the showcase, following suit with Onimusha: Way of the Sword, which launched its demo during the June 2026 State of Play.

On the other hand, some players think that Phantom Blade Zero’s demo might be a shadow drop after the showcase concludes. Whatever the case, if S-Game releases a free PS5 demo, then players will have a chance to try out the action title ahead of its October 29 release date.

Moreover, S-Game launched pre-orders for Phantom Blade Zero today with an 11-minute trailer showcasing stunning gameplay and revealing popular martial artist Donnie Yen as the facial and motion-capture performer for Mo Yuan, one of the game’s characters.

Recently, titles like Pragmata and 1666: Amsterdam received free demos ahead of their releases, so a Phantom Blade Zero demo for PS5 isn’t surprising at all. The free demo will most likely be a combat showcase, like Onimusha: Way of the Sword’s, giving players a hands-on experience before pre-ordering the Standard or the Deluxe Edition.

In addition, PlayStation has confirmed that Phantom Blade Zero’s August 17 State of Play will run for about 20 minutes, introducing new characters central to the game’s narrative and showcasing different builds that players can create through their journey into the Phantom World.

However, Phantom Blade Zero’s physical PS5 release remains a mystery, but hopefully, S-Game will announce it alongside the free demo at the August 17 State of Play.
