The difference lies in the fact that the 6 Gen 3 uses performance cores clocked at 2.4GHz instead of 2.2GHz. It still uses the same four efficiency cores as the 6 Gen 1. Besides that, there's nothing extra that it brings to the table. What makes it all the more convoluted is that the 6 Gen 3 is also very similar to the 7s Gen 2 from the Snapdragon 7-series.
