The ColorOS 12 update schedule you see above is for the Chinese market, where the company hasn’t launched the Nord series. The OnePlus Nord, Nord CE, Nord 2, and other budget offerings are limited to India, Europe, and the US. We expect OnePlus to shed light on the update timeline for the global markets soon enough. So stay tuned for more information.

Is your Oppo or OnePlus phone listed above? Are you excited to use ColorOS 12 over OxygenOS? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

So I have to change my Oneplus 7T before the First half of 2022?

  • Joe says:

    What the hell!!😫😫
ComeOn OnePlus Don’t fall into this..

  • Nikhilesh says:

Never used ColorOS so… don’t know the user experience
If the update for OP brings ADS with ColorOS to INDIAN Market then I would choose another brand

  • Abhimanyu Kumar Vlogs says:

Color OS will be full of shity advertisement..I don’t want color OS

  • Mingma Dorjee says:

Very nice so good one plus 9 pro

  • Sumant Bhatia says:

Time to say bye to OnePlus and switch back to samsung/apple/google. While a common development platform may lead to better cost optimization for both brands, it doesn’t do much for the satisfaction of one plus fan base. We always knew the roots of one plus but as long as it was kept as a separate brand and not your run of mill mobile ph brand it was ok , however after the one plus 9R/9/9pro launch, looking at the northward pricing & subsequent integration efforts with oppo, it’s clear that going forward one plus is going to loose it’s niche as a flagship killer and a brand that offered max
technology experience at reasonable prices. Time to move back to og flagship brands .Sadly OnePlus is becoming yet another also ran Chinese brand and Pete lau will realise the mistake…not now but certainly in times to come.

  • Nav says:

Never gonna update to color. I prefer selling it rather than using color os

  • Dhan dhana dhan dhan says:

Why is Flagship OP9R receiving the update so late? Also, Oppo’s phones are getting priority over OP phones. How do we pursuade OnePlus to give faster updates to 9R and also to 8T.

    • Hritik Sharma says:

One plus 9R is not flagship phone.

  • Vaibhav Singhvi says:

OnePlus 7pro user .. getting android 12 might be available or might not be available android 11 took months ..that too fixes after fixes..I have no hope from OnePlus for 7 series ..even for 8 series they will be delayed for sure

One plus 9r should be getting the Android 12 update earlier with the other 9 series phone

    • Dhan dhana dhan dhan says:

Absolutely. Have I made a mistake putting my money in OP? May be I should have gone with Samsung.

  • Ayush says:

Pete was the co founder of OnePlus. But this person himself killed the company in the hands of OPPO. OPPO came to Pete to ask for help and Pete showing his wisdom decided to help OPPO by killing OnePlus.

Hey what about nord 2..? It will not receive any updates??? Regarding android 12.

    • hareesh says:

      see the penultimate paragraph

  • Kar-El says:

I’m a Oneplus 8pro user and looking at the time line it clearly shows that OPPO is giving priority to their’s smart phone first. Only 9 & 9pro manage to be on Oct rest all OnePlus smart phone are pushed to next year with OPPO mid or low range smart phone. That is the value now of Oneplus under OPPO.

  • Suyash Mishra says:

Will Indian Oneplus Devices also get ColorOS ? If yes, then bye bye to oneplus once and for all. Will switch to the pixel or iPhone. Currently owning OP8.

  • RJ says:

But it stated in the official Google Developers page rhat OnePlus Nord would be receiving the update, right?

    • Anmol Sachdeva says:

Yeah, OnePlus Nord will get the Android 12 update.

  • Rahul Horo says:

Yes my device name has been listed above and that’s the OnePlus 7 t. I’m already very much disappointed with the decision of revamped oxegen os, full of bugs and now OnePlus gave me another heart attack that instead of oxygen os we will get a colour os based update. I will cry a lot at oxygen os funeral.

  • Kishor says:

    Ughhh.. mixed feelings…!
Never used colour OS.. been attached to OOS..
    Fingers crossed🤞🤞🤞..
Hoping COLOUR OS will be good!
