The Pixel 9 will have a 6.1-inch display, smaller than the Pixel 8's 6.2-inch screen. Despite the smaller screen, the phone has dimensions of 152.8 x 71.9 x 8.5 mm, which are larger than Pixel 8's dimensions. The renders also point toward the standard Pixel 9 getting a Telephoto lens in a triple camera setup.
The retail packaging of Pixel 8a was leaked in a Vietnam-based Pixel Facebook group today, and it suggests the A series will get a charging speed upgrade to 27W. The Google Pixel 8a may arrive in three colors -- Obsidian Black, Porcelain, and Bay. The phone will be a mid-range device with a 90Hz panel, Tensor G3, and may cost the same as the Pixel 7a, i.e. $500 or Rs 42,999.
Google Pixel 9 Pro renders have been leaked and they suggest sharper desgn, a revamped camera bump, and a flat display. The phone has the same dimensions as the Pixel 8 Pro with the only difference being it thinner by 0.3mm. The overall aesthetics are reminiscent of the latest iPhone and the Nothing Phone (2).
The December Feature Drop for Pixel devices is here and it brings lots of new features such as Night Sight for Video, Timelapse, and the ability to use your Pixel camera as a Webcam for PC. The update also brings a few AI features that are exclusive to the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro.
Google may launch the Pixel 8a early next year but from the pattern that previous a-series devices have followed, it's easy to get some of the specifications of 8a. The Pixel 8a will probably end up costing the same as the Pixel 7a and will be powered by the Tensor G3, the new Tensor that was introduced in Pixel 8 this year.
Even though the Pixel 8A is yet to be released, the wallpapers collection for it has leaked. The leaked Pixel 8A wallpapers feature Google's Mineral Collection, made by Andrew Zuckerman. The new wallpapers include themes on Titanite, Barite, and Hematite with each having their own design as well as dark & light themes!
