We all know that Deadpool and Wolverine will see the Merc With a Mouth along with Wolverine going around blowing people’s heads off while performing multiversal shenanigans. In quite an interesting event a few days ago Zazzle.com posted a description for Deadpool and Wolverine but later on, deleted it. In essence, the description said that Deadpool and Wolverine will drop in on some of the most iconic moments of MCU from Phase 1-4. Let’s talk about the 5 MCU events Deadpool and Wolverine might take us to.
1. The Age of Ultron Opening Fight Sequence
First, we will talk about the things we saw in the trailer that strongly suggest Deadpool going through some timelines, and as we move forward in this piece, we will read further into the lines. The first MCU event I strongly believe Deadpool and Wolverine will take us to is the fight sequence in the opening of Avengers: Age of Ultron.
In both the Deadpool and Wolverine teaser and the trailer, we have a sequence where Deadpool is seen engaging soldiers wearing TVA colors in a frosty forest setting very similar to what we have seen in Avengers: Age of Ultron. On top of that, when Mr. Paradox shows Wade clips from the MCU, there’s also a clip from this very fight sequence raising the probability of this event appearing in Deadpool and Wolverine even more.
2. Avengers Endgame Final Battle
Another highly anticipated theory among fans is Deadpool and Wolverine will make their way to the final battle of Avengers Endgame. Someone even made a fan-made trailer for the same. This speculation came to rise when during the final moments of the Deadpool and Wolverine trailer, we see both of them jumping into a portal strikingly similar to one Doctor Strange creates for teleportation.
In Avengers Endgame, many portals opened up calling in reinforcements for the Avengers, and maybe, just maybe, this portal is one of them. Trust me when I say it if Marvel makes it happen I would lose my mind.
3. Loki’s Death Scene Of Thor: The Dark World
Now you might ask how Deadpool can even be there. Well, what if I told you that he already is? A 9-minute clip of Deadpool and Wolverine screened at CinemaCon 2024 showed a scene where Chris Hemsworth’s Thor was mourning over Deadpool’s body instead of Loki’s as we see in Thor: The Dark World. This Clip teased Chris Hemsworth’s appearance as Thor in Deadpool and Wolverine, which might occur during this event. Moreover, the clip also hints that Deadpool and Wolverine is the doing of Doctor Strange!
4. The Battle of New York
Since it’s very clear at this point that this movie will act as a soft reboot of the Marvel Universe, there is a high possibility that Deadpool and Wolverine might find their way to the very MCU event that started it all, the Battle of New York in Avengers (2012). If anything about this movie changes, it can influence the entirety of Marvel, and since Deadpool is on a mission to change the Marvel universe he might show up during the Battle of New York.
5. Captain America’s Ship Fight Scene in The Winter Soldier
Another MCU event I think Deadpool can show up at is the ship fight scene we witnessed in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Now I’m not saying this completely based on speculation but there are subtle hints that tell us that Deadpool may show up during the events of The Winter Soldier, if not the ship scene, somewhere else. The very opening of the 9-minute clip screening of Deadpool and Wolverine came along with the BGM of Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
On top of that, When Mr. Paradox shows Deadpool the clips from MCU in the trailer, Deadpool is highly impressed by Captain America and even salutes him. The clip is also in some sort of a special focus since it is on all three screens. All these factors support the idea of Deadpool and Wolverine making their way to The Winter Soldier.
