I can wholeheartedly say that 2023 was a monumental year for One Piece fans like me. We were treated with numerous high-adrenaline moments in Luffy's Gear 5, unexpected announcements like the One Piece anime remake, and emotional and fighting scenes in Wano, among other things that made 2023 a special year for every single fan out there.
After being postponed to 2024 due to the SAG-AFTRA, the 75th Emmy awards ceremony was held today. Famed One Piece author Eiichiro Oda wrote a one-shot manga called Monsters when he was 19, and it is getting an anime adaptation after 30+ years. The Monsters anime tells the story of Ryuma, a young samurai from the lands of Wano. This anime series will include only a single episode, which has a runtime of 25 minutes, and will be streamed on Netflix and Prime Video.
