In a latest IGN interview, Head of Respawn and Group GM for EA Studios Organization Vince Zampella shares official details on the next Battlefield game. According to him, the game will be a "Back to basics approach". The game will also be built on the core gameplay of Battlefield 3 and 4 as it gets rid of 128 player approach and the Specialists mode. Battlefield entered full production earlier this year, with a "Community Program" planned for 2025.

In a recent financial earnings call for the quarter, EA boss Andrew Wilson sharee some updates on the games in development at the studios responsible for Battlefield titles. As per the boss, he is positive of the progress, and based on his playthroughs, called them great live-service.
