- A new campaign teaser for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 hints at an unlikely alliance between Price and Valeria.
- Valeria and Price can be seen wreaking havoc in the streets of Paris in the new Modern Warfare 4 campaign teaser.
- The alliance could be because Price is working off the books in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4.
Infinity Ward has just shared a brand new campaign teaser for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4, giving players their first look at an unlikely partnership between Captain Price and Valeria. The teaser shows the duo operating together on the streets of Paris, hinting at Price’s primary focus in Modern Warfare 4.
The new Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 campaign teaser opens with Valeria telling Price: “Don’t forget our deal. We don’t get to Paris, you don’t get your archer.” This essentially confirms that the Price-Valeria team-up is only temporary and a quid pro quo rather than a full-on alliance. The teaser then transitioned into Price and Valeria taking down enemy vehicles on Paris streets.
Given Price and Valeria’s history across games like Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3, seeing them work together has definitely led fans to question what could push Price to team up with Valeria. However, Activision has already revealed teasers about the Modern Warfare 4 campaign, confirming that Price will be involved in an “off-book, underground war while being hunted.”
Since Price will be operating outside the bounds of Task Force 141 and be hunted by unknown forces, it looks like the former Task Force 141 leader will have to employ some unconventional tactics to complete his mission. This is also what could cause the Ghost vs Price storyline to materialise, as hinted by the game’s very first trailer.
However, this theory is largely based on speculation. The true motive behind Price’s team-up with Valeria will only be revealed when Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 launches on October 23, 2026. If you have pre-ordered any version of Modern Warfare 4, you will be able to play the campaign early starting October 16.
