I have managed to have the same fb page since I started fb. They gave me a 27 day restriction bc I commented on a post that fb posted. I don’t wanna change platforms and delete fb. I just want it all to work the right way. I don’t think it’s to much to ask. But last night they blocked me from even getting in my acct by saying they needed proof it was me. I did everything they ask me to 7 times. So I got mad as heck and made another page. Please fb get your stuff together. It’s more stressful than it is fun. Thank you

  • Taryn says:

The biggest issues are privacy and censorship. Big Tech deciding what information you have access to and profiting from your personal information. There are no real alternatives until these issues are addressed. Not for profit, no ads or selling or trading of personal information, free speech without censorship.

  • Gregoryf Clarke says:

I recently got a 29 day block from Facebook for saying the word monkey . They said it was bulling for some reason I still don’t understand how that is bulling . They won’t even explain it to me . This was in a social group in Australia and yet they only banned me for six days from viewing their ads at the same time . I can watch their ads but not partishapate in my social group .

  • glen says:

I’m having some real issues. I have checked out almost all of the Facebook alternative networks. Most are Twitter replicas for people with smartphones. I’m old school and use a Desktop or my laptop computer(s) to connect to social media. so far Facebook has the SUPERIOR Setup for Groups, Pages, but most important Administrative tools for managing those pages or groups. My main issue with the alternatives I have tried only max out at 777 on GETTR, all of the others are between 200 and 400 only. Facebook allows up to 8000 Characters per post. I have several groups I have put many untold hours into running them, but the constant Faq Checks (Fake Check is what I call them) are causing a lot of issues. NO other social media networks so far has this ability, so I’m FORCED to stay with Facebook. also on many of the other alternatives it is hard to follow any one Thread or group of posts, drives me nuts. so MY Question does anyone actually exist that has what I need for my pages &/or groups I host or administer? They have to be able to post videos, photos, acrobate files (pdf) to the group and a files area/archives. Please help! Security is a Must/privacy as well.

    • Rjay says:

      Facebook isn’t private at all.

  • Super mario says:

I am creating an alternative social media platform for Dutch people. Its called Dutch underground network engine and its online. Not sure if I can share it here.. Do feel it deserves a place here and its not out of context so without further adue heres my new site DUNE.wtf

  • Nils R. Bull says:

Over the past two years & some I was jailed something like six time by FaceBook. Latest two were for using the term “gringo” in reference to my own befuddled state. Seems “gringo” is a hate speech word to FaceBook. Not to me or my Spanish &Portuguese speaking friends. I’ve been jailed for being an atheist, for speaking Norwegian, for posting an antifascist meme with Hitler’s face on it, a meme that later showed up on a friend’s page no problem. I figure there’s a bunch of people at FB who look for folks like me. Folks who’ve been Fair Game so long that the Crutch of $cientology has book on ‘em. So I’m out to find an alternative & leave Zuckerboy & his attack algorithms.
. . .If only I could get ‘em to kill my account outright.

    • R Johnsen says:

I have not had those problems on FB but I do have problems getting others feedback on FB. Seems that the face-verse is a farce-verse as far as politically intense replies.
My political input is just ignored.
Sad the FB viewers are just socialites and have near zero interests in our world at large. No wonder wars (by the US) rage as none seem to give a crap except for silliness and self adoration.
Sadly to argue world politics and war is beyond the depth of the FB 99%!
I am seriously tired of bland yapping and the offensiveness of ignoring the crimes of war that continue to engulf our poor world.

      • Ryan says:

Yes the world is failing but whining about It on Facebook and bitchin politics constantly isn’t gonna change or better the world til people open their eyes, wake up & actually do something about it. Facts.

      • Taryn says:

Perhaps, it’s your need to “argue” rather than discuss or debate the issues. Starting with calling everyone on FB “socialites with zero interest.” Being open minded and accepting of other points of views would probably go a long way, as well.

  • Codeaxia Digital Solutions says:

thanks for the facebook alternative list ..

  • James Daley says:

WOW! You forget Telegram I hope you check it out.

  • David Fairthorne says:

I am not entirely happy with Facebook, especially since one of my favourite contributors (The Atheist Conservative) has apparently been banned. Being an infidel and a libertarian, I am looking for an unbiased alternative. Any suggestions would be welcome.

    • R Johnsen says:

I think we would often disagree but I would love an alternative the FB where the masses do not just ignore our world at large and the continuous wars by the USA.

  • Marcy says:

I just checked out Gab. Didn’t created an account because 99% of the front page looks like a bunch of rightwing garbage to me.
Not a bit interested in that or I’d do to Parlour.

    • Right Winger says:

Then you need to stay on FaceBook and Twitter. Left wing garbage and controllers of thought and speech.

      • Anthony Darcet says:

The growing majority are opting no No Wing. You have the freedom to choose what works best for you.

    • RC says:

Very true. Will not go near Gab again!

    • R Johnsen says:

So true. It is a horror show!

  • Eric G Bingham-Kumpf says:

I was banned from Facebook because the Facebook Team viewed my profile page linked to my YouTube page “a form of self-promotion” and that they believed that I was trying to make money from my link. The point was for people to get a chance to view my musical compositions for listening, not profit. I am on MeWe now and it is great!

    • RC says:

FB is money hungry no matter how much they make!

  • Larry Miller says:

We the People MUST remove our accounts from Facebook to show them we do not need them or want them to show them we are in control! I left on leave Facebook day yes that is a thing I have been gone from there about 3 or 4 years now just do your research for the best alternative and backup all your stuff before you give Facebook the boot or YouTube or Twitter lets show them who is really in charge!

    • Sofie Mor says:

I want to have opportunity to sell staff , I used FB Marketplace – any alternative to it ???

      • Georgia C says:

Gab has a Marketplace planned. It’s not up and running yet, but it is supposed to be in the near future.

      • Just a Girl says:

Love Gab!! It’s perfect when you want to get away from Facebook and all it’s BS censorship!

  • Bob Howie says:

The biggest problem for them all is popularity.
Facebook and Youtube are the best two examples, they both worked well and people liked them, then they got popular and profitable. So, someone decides to make them an offer they can’t refuse and next thing the new owners decide they don’t like it the way it is and start imposing new terms and conditions. Like the way Google wants you to sign in, but not using your old email password but a new one which they won’t accept and virtually nothing I do will get them to accept any password I even if it appears they did because the next time I try to sign in there is a problem with my password, and it just repeats.
These companies see a good deal then play with it to try to get more money which leads to greed, which leads to people being disgruntled and choosing other formats to use.
You see it with entrapeneurs, they work at a new product ( I know, I have done it, still working on it after 7 years) get it to market via Kickstarter. Now, when I design a product I think, “what would I pay” and I try to base my design on that principal. What I have seen with a lot of Kickstarter projects is, lets get our money back on this product I can get produced cheaply in Asia.
Whatever it is, you don’t work on the get rich quick principal, you work on the slowly, cheaply, high turnover principal where more people can afford it, so, more people buy it.

  • Raewarrn says:

I wish MySpace would come back. It was my favorite. I am going to delete toxic Facebook as soon as I can find something comparable. I am in groups, Chihuahua & Pacific North West, and they are not on these other sites like MeWe.
So…. I will miss my groups. But I have grown to hate Facebook!!! Hope that they get sued!!!

    • Aquarius says:

MySpace is still around, just need to make moves to promote it in your groups, basically use Facebook to promote MySpace.

    • Just a Girl says:

mySpace is so different than what it used to be. Now it’s some sort of stereo deck and it’s not at all easy to find out what’s going on with your friends! Go and try Gab. It’s seriously the best place around…..!!

      • Marcy says:

I just checked out Gab. Didn’t created an account because 99% of the front page looks like a bunch of rightwing garbage to me.
Not a bit interested in that or I’d do to Parlour.

      • Justme says:

Stay on fb, Marcy! It’s right up your left wing garbage hole!!

      • SLG says:

Oh do grow up, will you?!

  • micki says:

Ijoined Vero and MeWee but what do you think of mewee? You have only 8gb for free for you pics and videos then you have to pay,is it enough space?

  • micki says:

Same happen to me when i changed email. Im closing facebook whatsapp and instagram.

  • SurviveTheNews.com says:

Bunch of garbage! These platforms will just as quickly delete you from their platforms as FB or Twitter, WordPress would.
