Dogen Location in Palworld
Similar to Yakumo, Dogen is found in the central area of Sakurajima island only. You can travel to the Moonflower Tower travel point and look around to find it.
Near the Sakurajima shrine, you will find many Dogen praying in peace. They will not engage until you poke them. Be careful, as this area reeks of Moonflower ninjas. If you enter this area during the nighttime, you can find Dogen in a sleeping stance.
How to Catch Dogen in Palworld
Once you encounter a Dogen, do not engage it right away. You will have plenty of time to prepare as it is less aggressive than Pals like Knocklem. When you are ready, follow the steps below:
- Reach a higher level before finding them: Before you enter the region where the Dogen spawns, remember their level can be as high as 52-55. So, be sure you level up fast in Palworld and get to at least level 52.
- Bring Ultimate Pal sphere: As Dogen is a high-level Pal, just having a high level is not enough. Ensure having a couple of Ultimate Pals spheres before fighting it. You can catch it using Legendary Pal sphere but it can waste a lot of them if you are not lucky.
- Use Dark Type Pals: High-level Dark type Pals such as Astegon or Shadowbeak can be quite strong against Dogen. Just make sure you take back your Pal to prevent accidental death on the Dogen you want to catch.
