The Mandalorian, streaming on Disney+, burst into popularity after the series debuted in 2019. Pedro Pascal’s role as Din Djarin or The Mandalorian was highly appreciated, however, the spotlight was stolen by baby Yoda or Grogu who stole everyone’s hearts with his cuteness and the comical element he added to the show. Now, a lot of people have questions regarding his age since the species Grogu belongs to ages very differently from how humans do. So, let’s talk about how old Grogu is in The Mandalorian’s Star Wars timeline!
What is Grogu’s age?
In Mandalorian Season 1, the Imperial scientists confirmed that Grogu is 50 years old. Since Grogu’s species ages quite differently it is difficult to estimate his exact age by looking at him so the age given by Imperial scientists is the closest estimate they could make.
This is the only time in the entire season where how old is Grogu is mentioned and after that, there is no mention of it. However, by Season 3 of The Mandalorian, we do get to know that he has aged a bit since Season 1.
Grogu’s Age in Each ‘The Mandalorian’ Season
Even though Season 2 of The Mandalorian does not mention Grogu’s age once again. However, since Jon Favreau made a comment stating that he will be 53 in Mandalorian Season 3 which confirms that Grogu is aging every year that passes, and since Mandalorian Season 2 happened a year after Season 1, he is probably 51 years old in The Mandalorian Season 2. Since he appeared in The Book of Boba Fett, which is set a year after The Mandalorian Season 2, he is probably 52 years old in Boba Fett.
