She is easily one of the best Harmony characters in the game and one of the must-pull characters for Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae mains. Sparkle is a member of the Masked Fools, who also wants to get into the Genius Society. She is described as a woman with countless masks and many faces and a dangerous master of theatrics.

During the Penacony arc, we saw Sparkle doing countless mischiefs, guiding the Trailblazer to the correct path while also adding hindrances. Her exact objective is still unknown but she doesn’t appear to be an antagonist for the moment.

Currently, Sparkle is featuring in the 2nd phase banner of version 2.4, alongside Jiaoqiu in Honkai Star Rail. Her current banner features Hunt March 7th, Sampo, and Arlan as the 4-star characters. Sparkle was released in the 2nd phase of the HSR 2.0 banner on February 29, which was also her last banner in Honkai Star Rail.

Sparkle’s Kit and Best Cycle Rotation (At Max Level)

Sparkle is perfect for Hyper carry teams, especially Skill point negative DPS units. Her kit is straightforward, and if correctly used, it can increase the team’s damage significantly. She is also a strong contender to be one of the S-tier characters in Honkai Star Rail. Let’s look at her kit first to understand her play style.

  • Monodrama (Basic Attack): Deals flat single target Quantum damage equal to 130% of Sparkle’s Attack.
  • Dreamdiver (Skill): It increases the Crit Damage of an ally by 30% of her Crit Damage + 54% for 1 turn. Furthermore, it also action forwards the ally by 50%. The action forward ability doesn’t work when Sparkle uses the Skill on herself.
  • The Hero with a Thousand Faces (Ultimate): Marks allies with Cipher and recovers 4 Skill points. Allies with Cipher get an increase to her Talent damage buff by 12% per stack, lasting for 2 turns.

  • Red Herring (Talent): The max number of Skill points is increased by 2 when Sparkle is on the battlefield. Furthermore, it increases the Damage dealt by all allies by 7.5% per stack (max 3 stacks) for 2 turns when an ally consumes 1 Skill point.
  • Unreliable Narrator (Technique): It gives the Stealth status to all allies for 20 seconds. Stealth prevents enemies from detecting you and entering the battle with it will recover 3 Skill point for all allies.

Sparkle’s Skill gives a straight Crit Damage buff to one ally and advances their action, similar to Bronya. Her talent also gives a damage buff to the entire team, depending on the skill points used by allies. Sparkle’s buff uptimes are pretty low, so you will need to fine-tune your team’s speed to get the best out of her buffs.

Even though her stats require a high Crit Damage for her buffs, you won’t be using her Basic attacks much due to her low buff uptimes. So, her ideal turn cycle rotation will have her take action right after your main DPS, allowing her skill to action forward your main DPS and letting them take action twice.

Sparkle has some pretty good cavern relic and planar ornament options to get the best out of her buffs. Here are the best relics, planar ornaments, and main and sub-stats for creating the best Sparkle build.

Best Relics for Sparkle in HSR

  • Messenger Traversing Hackerspace Relic Set
  • Musketeer of Wild Wheat relic set
  • 4-Piece Traversing Hackerspace (Best for Sparkle)
  • 4-Piece Musketeer of Wild Wheat (Best Alternative)

The 4-piece Traversing Hackerspace is best for Sparkle, as it will give your team a good speed buff after using her Ultimate. The 4-piece Musketeer of Wild Wheat is also a good alternative to increase Sparkle’s speed and attack.

Best Planar Ornaments for Sparkle in HSR

  • Broken Keel Planar Ornament Set
  • Penacony Land of the Dreams Planar Ornament Set
  • 2-Piece Broken Keel (Best for Sparkle)
  • 2-Piece Penacony, Land of the Dreams (Best for Mono Quantum teams)

Sparkle’s best build will use the 2-piece Broken Keel when she meets the 30% Effect Resistance threshold. This will allow Sparkle to buff the Crit Damage of all her allies by 10% on top of her Skill’s buff.

The 2-piece Penacony, Land of the Dreams, will be Sparkle’s best pick if she is in a mono Quantum team. This will let her buff the entire team’s Damage significantly, especially with her Ascension 6 ability unlocked.

Sparkle Main and Sub Stats for her Relics and Planar Ornaments

Sparkle’s Crit Damage buff for allies scales with her Crit Damage, so stack as much Crit Damage as possible. Next, prioritize meeting the 30% Effect Resistance threshold for using the Broken Keel set. Add at least 20% Effect Resistance on her sub-stats, as her Traces also give a 10% effect resistance boost. Make sure to break at least the 134 Speed Breakpoint with Sparkle.

Other than that, you can stack ERR%, HP%, and Defense% as needed. Make sure to always keep her speed one less than the speed of your team’s main DPS.
