Expectations from Deadpool and Wolverine are at an all-time high because of the rumors floating around about all the characters and actors set to appear in the movie. So, find out about all Deadpool 3 cast members confirmed to appear in the movie.

Editor’s Note: updated on July 23, 2024, to include Hunter B-15 and X-23 who were confirmed to be in Deadpool 3 with a recent TV Spot and the final trailer.

1. Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool

After a total trash representation of Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Ryan Reynolds quite literally took it personally to represent Deadpool in his full glory. Deadpool made his debut in 2016 with his own feature film, which turned out to be a blockbuster.

Continuing the tale in Deadpool 2 with another scintillating performance, Ryan Reynolds is back for Deadpool 3, promising another chart-breaker. This time, Deadpool is going to team up with a lot of characters from across the Marvel Universe.

2. Hugh Jackman as Wolverine

If Ryan Reynolds’s comeback as Deadpool was not enough, Hugh Jackman is officially joining the Deadpool 3 cast as the one and only Wolverine! The last time we saw Hugh Jackman play Logan was back in 2019, and it was assumed that he would no longer be playing the character.

However, can anyone say no if Reynolds himself asks them to be a part of their movie? Hence, we have Jackman back with his adamantium claws, and this time, in a comic-accurate Wolverine suit. We don’t know about you, but we are hyped AF to see him go berserk on some bad guys.

3. Karan Soni as Dopinder

For as long as I can think, every superhero has a sidekick. Batman has Robin, Superman has Krypto, and Deadpool has Dopinder, a sheepish, timid cab driver. Karan Soni plays the fun sidekick who made his place in the cast in 2016 with the first Deadpool movie.

He did not have a lot of screen time in the first movie but was seen for a significant duration, with an amazing performance, in Deadpool 2. Now, Soni is back with his cab and his wits in Deadpool 3, and let’s hope we get to see another amazing feat of him as Dopinder.

4. Jennifer Garner as Elektra

Back in 2005, Jennifer Garner associated with Marvel when she played the role of Elektra in her feature film. However, this movie did not really work out that well but her performance as Elektra was highly praised. Fast forward to 2024, there were numerous rumors revolving around Jennifer Garner joining the Deadpool and Wolverine cast, reprising her role as Elektra.

This rumor was not initially taken for granted but soon enough Reynold’s production company, Maximum Effort, confirmed this rumor, making it official. However, Jennifer Garner is still silent about this saying “I don’t know what you’re talking about. What could you mean?“. We know Jennifer, we know.

5. Emma Corrins as Cassandra Nova

In the role of the main Villain, Emma Corrins is joining the cast of Deadpool and Wolverine as Cassandra Nova. In the first trailer, we only got a small glimpse of her. However, in the latest Deadpool and Wolverine Trailer we saw the character in all her glory and a demonstration of her powers as well.

As far as we can predict, it seems that Cassandra Nova is responsible for the destruction of Wolverine’s world and has now set course for Deadpool. The trailer suggests that Deadpool will be seeking help from Wolverine to save his world from Cassandra Nova’s invasion.

6. Matthew Macfadyne as Paradox

Another brand new face joining the cast of Deadpool 3 is Matthew Macfadyne as Paradox. Now you may ask who is this guy? Well, If you dive into Marvel Comics, Paradox is what you can call a variant of Mobius. However, Paradox is a relatively minor character in the comics and is a judge in the TVA. He presided over the trial of She-Hulk in She-Hulk Vol 2 #3.

However, it seems that Marvel has made him a rather central character in Deadpool 3 contrary to his minor role in the comics just like Ouroborus. Matthew Macfadyne joining the cast of Deadpool and Wolverine as Paradox was something no one saw coming so this is quite exciting and let’s see where this goes!

7. Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15

Another revelation that took fans by utter surprise was the appearance of Hunter B-15 in the new TV spot for Deadpool and Wolverine. However, by the looks of it, she does not seem to be a Hunter anymore but some sort of an officer. The TV Spot does not show us a lot of her interactions so as of now, we can’t really say how much of a role she is going to play in Deadpool 3 so let’s wait and see what happens.

8. Tyler Mane as Sabertooth

A few days back a new teaser for Deadpool 3 was released which confirmed the appearance of Tyler Mane as Sabertooth. Fans have been speculating about his appearance since the time he was seen in a combat sequence with Wolverine in some leaked set photos. However, those photos were later said to be fake and as it turns out, they were not.

So, it is now confirmed that Tyler Mane will be making a return as Sabertooth in Deadpool 3 after almost 24 years and as someone who has been a fan of the X-Men franchise, I cannot wait to see it in theaters

9. Jason Flemyng as Azazel

In the new Deadpool and Wolverine trailer, there is a small easter egg among many others when we get a glimpse of a character we have not seen in a long time. When Cassandra Walks out of her Ant-Man-Skeleton lair, we see a glimpse of Jason Flemyng’s Azazel standing there confirming his return to the big screen. Previously, he appeared in X-Men: First Class which was also the last time we saw him on screen.

10.  Kelly Hu as Lady Deathstrike

Another character making a comeback after a one-and-done appearance is Lady Deathstrike played by Kelly Hu. She appeared in X2, the second movie in the chronology of X-Men movies. She appears in the same scene where Azazel appeared. As of now, we can’t say how much screen time she is going to have in Deadpool and Wolverine.

11. Dafne Keen as X-23

In the final trailer for Deadpool and Wolverine, a cast reveal took all the fans by storm. The reappearance of Dafne Keen as X-23 has been in rumors since the very first trailer for Deadpool 3 was released. The final trailer for Deadpool and Wolverine confirmed this rumor showing a clip featuring Dafne Keen. We can expect that she might have a big role in the movie but I guess before we jump to conclusions, we’ll have to wait until 26 July to watch Deadpool and Wolverine!

12. Aron Stanford as Pyro

Another character that we have not seen in more than a decade and who is set to return to the cast of Deadpool and Wolverine is Pyro. Aron Stanford last appeared in the role of Pyro in X2 and X-Men: The Last Stand and is now making a comeback in the role.

However, this time, it seems that under the umbrella of Marvel, Pyro is going to appear sporting a Comic-inspired suit. I have to admit that watching him and Wolverine on screen once again would be a massive dose of nostalgia for me and most probably, for you guys too.

13. Dogpool

Another rather cute addition to the Deadpool 3 cast is Dogpool. This four-legged canine has been a part of Deadpool comics as well. If we look at the story of Dogpool, in an alternate universe, he was a dog named Wade who was used as a test subject for a company named Mascara X. This was a cosmetics company attempting to create a mascara that would reapply itself automatically after just one application.

Tests for this cosmetic mutated him and granted him the ability to heal from any injury. Deadpool 3 is going to give us a live-action adaptation of Dogpool, as seen in the ticket sale announcement teaser posted by Ryan Reynolds.

The X post read, “Did Dogpool save the day? Not a chance in gremlin hell. But she IS currently causing the Disney plushy merch department nightmares. Coming with the movie, Summer 2024”

14. Leslie Uggams as Blind Al

Among the list of reappearing characters in Deadpool 3, Leslie Uggams is going to reprise her role as Blind Al. This character is like the parent figure of Deadpool along with being a friend. She helps Deadpool if he ever needs a place to crash or just some, you know, drugs (not the medical kind).

Her screen time in both Deadpool movies was not that much but for the time she appears on screen, her presence is most certainly felt.

15. Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio

Making her first appearance in Deadpool 2, Shioli Kutsuna played the role of Yukio, a member of X-Men and a rather minor character in the movie. The only significant thing she did was fix Cable’s teleportation device for Deadpool.

Using this device, Deadpool went back in time and changed a lot of things, including saving Venessa from dying. In Deadpool 2, we do not get to see the aftermath of what he did and Deadpool 3 could possibly revolve around the aftermath of Deadpool going back in time and changing certain events. So technically, we should thank Yukio for doing what she did.

16. Morena Baccarin as Venessa

Morena Baccarin as Venessa was easily one of the most loved characters in the Deadpool franchise but was killed off in Deadpool 2. However, by the end of Deadpool 2, we see Wade go back in time and save her from being killed, which explains her appearance in Deadpool 3.

When asked about her role by Josh Wilding from Comicbook.com, Morena Baccarin stated, “It did work out! I finished my shooting days on it, already. I think the film is now underway again after the strike and I think it’s going to be quite good! Yeah, I think Fans are in for a fun surprise.”

17. Stefan Kapičić as Colossus

Keeping a check on Deadpool since 2016, Stefan Kapičić is reprising his role as Colossus in the third installment as well. As of now, we can’t really speculate on the extent of his appearance in Deadpool 3, because several other X-Men are confirmed and rumored to appear in the movie.

However, the moral conflict between Deadpool and Colossus has always been fun to witness and even a short-term interaction between them in Deadpool 3 is going to be totally epic.

18. Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead

Because Colossus is appearing in Deadpool 3, how can his “intern” not be a part of the film? Brianna Hildebrand is set to appear in Deadpool 3 as Negasonic Teenage Warhead once again.

And again, the same as Colossus, we do not know how much screen time she is going to have in the movie. So let us wait and see what is coming our way on July 26, 2024.
