Ya but only for some days

  • Reza says:

Most of apps introduced here are belong to big names on streaming companies that are not actually designed to be offline music player but they can do it also. If you are searching for an app that can do more than listing songs and Play/Pause, then I highly recommend NikooPlaer. It is different with tons of features to enhance your music like 3D audio effects, reverb, echo, stereo EQ, automatic adoption to your hearing charts, sing along, push to talk, pitch and speed change, reverse playback, song order management, FLAC playback, pod casts playback, etc. Try it.

I really wish there was a music app that let you listen to music offline for FREE. All these apps are free, but to listen offline and download songs you have to pay!!!! If there was an offline music app for free, it would be the BEST APP EVER.

Can you make the video on the best “free” music app from where I can download as well as listen to the music forever. Since there is not a single app which I know does allow you to download after some point of time. There is always expiry date of premium version and etc etc. Please help me out.

Cancelling Slacker as well. No notice of any change – just unable to refresh my offline material.

  • janette wooddisse says:

Also cancelling Slacker – no notice of change. Just unable to refresh offline, so after investigation found that they had changed their policy. Not impressed.

  • Tsveta says:

Slacker Radio is NOT your choice if wanting to listen to offline music, since this feature is now only available on their Premium Tier, effective as of a few days ago. I also GOT NO NOTICE of this change, even though I was a Slacker Plus tier subscriber. It was a horrid experience finding out through an error message within the app, telling me I have to pay more. No notification. No heads up. Quietly… I would not recommend subscribing for this app. Not anymore..

    • Ray-looking for Slacker replacement says:

@Tsveta, same after 10 years as a plus subscriber, and suggesting Slacker to EVERYONE (whether they asked or not) I have cancelled my subscription, deleted the app altogether, and I am in search of a worthwhile replacement, sadly none of the apps on this list come close to what Slacker used to offer, and I’m very upset with this change.

      • Tsveta says:

@Ray, I found Trebel (nothing like slacker, but allows for free album downloads for offline listening). Yes, free. Still trying it out, not sure if it’s going to help you, but it’s an option! I also used to recommend slacker. The way they ‘kicked us out’ was idiotic. I am with you- requested to cancel my subscription with them. Only- haven’t heard back, that they honored my email request to cancel!?!?

      • Tsveta says:

Ray! I found Slacker Plus’ replacement and I am excited to share! Pandora NOW offers “Plus” tier for $4.99/mo (after 30 day free trial) !! While it only allows UP TO 4 offline stations, if offers unlimited song repeats and skips, and higher quality sound + no ads 😉 it just won my business! See- never give up! Enjoy!
