If you are still looking for an app like Kik messenger that provides you with a variety of features and ways to connect with your loved ones then the above mentioned apps will come in really handy. You can download any one of the mentioned apps and you won’t be missing Kik again at all. If you have any more suggestions for Kik alternatives then leave them in the comments below.

  1. This list is terrible. The loops to register on some are insane. WeChat requires you to know someone to verify you, how does that make sense if you are just looking to use the chat with random people feature.

Also giving my phone number is NOT going to happen for any of these app, and wifi numbers aren’t accepted. It’s like the developers are all men that have never experienced the internal as a female. I do not want to hand out my cell number for many reasons spam calls being probably the least of the concerns.

There are many other way to prevent bot from joining your app that do not require me to give out personal contact details that could allow people to find out a ton of information about me.

  2. I would like a list of apps. similar to kik in which I don’t have to give out my PHONE NUMBER! This is the whole reason kik is so popular, because we don’t have to give our phone numbers to complete strangers.
