Hideaki Itsuno, the director of Dragon's Dogma 2 has confirmed that the game will come with uncapped frames. This means Dragon's Dogma 2 will not be locked at 30FPS on Xbox, PlayStation, or PC. Itsuno further says the game will not have any variety of graphics mode and will be available only as a default mode.

As per an interview, Hideaki Itsuno of Dragon's Dogma 2 confirms that the game's main storyline length is similar to the first game. Hence, we can expect 24-36 hours of game-length for the main storyline. But, since there is more content available for the side activities and quests, players can expect the game to be a lot longer if they go the completionist route.

Dragon's Dogma 2 will have the Romance system return, allowing players to romance any of the in-game NPCs. The Romance system in Dragon's Dogma 2 is based on the NPC affinity system. Players can increase NPC affinity by interacting with them, finishing NPC-specific quests, and giving special items. Dragon's Dogma 2 will also have instances of sexual scenes and will also introduce brothels. 

Monikers act as a profanity filter for names in Dragon's Dogma 2. Players with Parental Guidance enabled will see the Moniker of a Pawn instead of their real name. All the Monikers are named after characters from other Capcom games. Monikers don't matter that much in character creation, so choose the moniker that seems the closest to your input name.

Pawns are AI-controlled companions that fight by the player's side and provide helpful tips along the way. Players can only create one main Pawn and recruit two more in-game. In total, every player can have 3 Pawns in their party, and one of them must be their main Pawn. The Pawn Vocations and inclinations play a big part in the Pawns' usefulness in combat.
