Does Dragon’s Dogma 2 Support Crossplay and Cross-Save? Answered!

In Short
  • Dragon's Dogma 2 is a single-player experience as confirmed by the director of the game.
  • This means the upcoming game will not come with crossplay and cross-save.

Ever since the first Dragon’s Dogma came into my hands, I always wanted to say, “Arisen! Assemble!” However, I also wanted to share this joy with my friends online. Like other gamers, even I was confused if Dragon’s Dogma 2 would come with crossplay and cross-save. To help both of us out, I scoured the Internet and found the answer to this question. So, without wasting any time, let’s begin!

Will Dragon’s Dogma 2 Come with Crossplay and Cross-Save

Hideaki Itsuno, the director of Dragon’s Dogma 2, has mentioned multiple times that the upcoming game will be a single-player experience. This means there will be no interference from outside players. While there will be a pawn system to help the player, this assistance won’t come from friends. As such, Dragon’s Dogma 2 will not have a crossplay feature.

In the same vein, Dragons Dogma 2 will not come with cross-save, which allows players to transfer saved data between platforms. So, your progress on the PC version won’t carry over to your PlayStation or Xbox.

We have seen many games sharing cross-save features between Xbox and PC versions of their game. However, even that is also not available in this highly anticipated monster adventure. Unfortunately, it seems Dragon’s Dogma 2 will not let you play the same save from different platforms.

We shall all wait to experience Dragon’s Dogma 2 solo as it releases soon. What are your thoughts on Dragon’s Dogma 2 not having the crossplay or a cross-save feature? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
