Marvel Rivals Season 7.5 Patch Notes for Version 20260417 Update
If you are gearing up for the new mid-season update, NetEase has confirmed that Marvel Rivals Season 7.5 will launch on April 17th, 2026, at 9 AM (UTC). This is a massive update as Black Cat is coming to Marvel Rivals. So, there will be a two-hour server downtime this time. Thus, you can wait and hop back in with your squad once the maintenance ends.

Fixes and Optimizations
A few days ago, NetEase devs made adjustments to the heroes. Check out our Marvel Rivals Season 7.5 Hero Buffs and Nerfs to learn more about the changes. Now the devs have also made some adjustments to the different game modes in the season 7.5 update as well, and it is as follows:
Clobberin’ Club
- In the Times Square chat channel, you can now send Duel invitations directly via the Player menu.
- Added a new rule for all Duel Modes: Assign Selectable Roles. You can now customize the list of available heroes by role type.
- Added a new rule for the Random mode: Mirror Type. Options include Full Mirror, Role Mirror, and No Mirror.
- You can now initiate Private Duels while matchmaking. The Duel will automatically interrupt when a match is found.
- Added a queue info guide screen at the entrance of the Clobberin’ Club.
All Platforms
- Esports Optimization: The player page now supports visual crosshair displays! You can view the visual effects of a pro player’s Favorite Reticle directly on their homepage and copy it for your own use.
Others
- Mantis Makeover: Fixed an issue where the eyebrows on the Mantis – Oceanic Harmony costume were displaying incorrectly. Even an empath needs her brows on point!
- Chat Decoded: Fixed an issue where messages containing special characters might not display correctly in chat. We’ve successfully translated the runes back into readable text!
Marvel Rivals Season 7.5 Roadmap
The new hero, event, and skins arriving with season 7.5 are just the beginning. As usual, NetEase devs have laid out a massive roadmap for the new Marvel Rivals Season 7.5. Following the launch of the new season, a new PvE mode: Blood Hunt, Hellfire Gala 2026 event, PvP mode: Path to Doomsday – The Avengers Mode, and plenty of new skins are on the way next before Marvel Rivals Season 8 goes live.
