Jujutsu Kaisen: Gege Akutami Hints at Gojo’s Return in New Art

The Gojo vs Sukuna battle was the zenith of Jujutsu Kaisen manga, however, it ended with the tragic death of the white-haired six-eye prodigy, Satoru Gojo. Ever since that day, there have been rumors and speculations about Gojo returning from the dead. And that didn’t stop Gege Akutami (creator of JJK) from teasing fans with brief scenes involving Gojo in the manga. Moreover, recently, new Gojo art was drawn by Gege Akutami, which heavily teases the return of Yuji’s beloved sensei. So, in this post, find out more about the second coming of Gojo Satoru.

Is Gojo Coming Back in Jujutsu Kaisen?

Jujutsu Kaisen fans, including me coping with Gojo’s loss with new levels of rumors isn’t something that is new in the community. It started with Nobara’s death, and we have seen tons of fan-made art of our beloved characters making a comeback.

But this time, it isn’t the community that is on the case, but the creator himself has decided to play with the hearts of the fans with new Gojo art in JJK Volume 26, which also has Gojo on the cover art. He teases the return of the mightiest sorcerer, Gojo Satoru, with this panel.

Gege’s rough sketches are always something else! Going by the same, on the initial page of Volume 26, he has made a rough sketch that apparently shows Gojo “reawakening” from death. This is the art that hyped the fans across the world and made them manifest the one-last comeback of Gojo Satoru.

However, fans are divided on this. Some believe this art shows the surprise in Gojo’s eyes and face when he was hit with Sukuna’s World Cutting Slash.

Now, fans might be hopeful for Gojo’s return but I wouldn’t want this to happen. Don’t come at me with pitchforks; just listen, nakama. Bringing back Gojo would mean that he would take center stage again and all other characters, including Yuji, Maki, Yuta, Kusakabe, and now even Miguel, who are giving their all against Sukuna, would be sidelined – AGAIN!

As much as I want to see my favorite sensei back in action, what I mentioned above will happen for sure if he does make a return. So, decide for yourself, and I know it’s a very tough decision to make for Gege as well as the fans.

However, I wouldn’t neglect the option of Gege trolling the fandom. He has been doing it for a long time now, and it would be no surprise if this is all for nothing and he slashes our hearts again (just like Sukuna’s favorite attack).
