How to Obtain Malignant Hearts In Diablo 4

There are a few specific ways to get a Malignant Heart in Diablo 4. These involve battling malignant monsters and gathering items from them. Follow the below steps. Before doing so, make sure you have progressed through the season’s storyline:

  • First, track down a partially corrupted monster. Once you find one of these monsters, kill them as usual.
  • Upon killing them, they will drop a Malignant heart.

  • Interact with this heart using the cage of bindings. This will revive the partially corrupted monster into a fully corrupted monster.

You can also craft a Malignant Heart at Cormond’s workbench. These workbenches can be found in the main towns of the game, and there is one in particular at Kyovashad. You will require Malignant Ichor to craft a caged heart in Diablo 4. Malignant Ichors, for the uninitiated, are obtainable from various chests in-game, specifically from chests received after an event. Another way of getting yourself ichor is salvaging the duplicate caged hearts at the workbench.

The properties of these crafted hearts are randomized, and players cannot decide their properties.
