At this point, one agent from every role in Valorant already had access to some form of healing, while the Controller class was still missing one. That changes now. Agent 30, Miks, arrives with a unique mix of stun utility, smoke control, team boosts, and a large AOE heal. Since many Controllers already serve as flex picks in team compositions, Miks finally gives that role a true support-focused option. If you want to master Miks in Valorant, here are all his abilities along with a few quick tips and tricks to use them effectively.

All Valorant Miks Abilities Explained

Before jumping into how to play Miks in Valorant, here is the list of all his abilities:

Harmonize (Q)

EQUIP Harmonize and target a teammate to activate a Combat Stim for both of you. Once activated, the buff refreshes every time either of you gets a kill, allowing the duo to keep momentum during fights. You can also ALT-FIRE to apply the Combat Stim to yourself if you want to take an aggressive duel.

The mechanic feels somewhat similar to the stim effects from agents like Brimstone, but this one is shared and tied to eliminations. That makes it far more rewarding during coordinated pushes or site retakes. Think of it as a tempo ability. Activate it before entering a site so both players gain the boost while trading kills.

M-pulse (C)

EQUIP the M-Pulse device and switch between two modes using ALT-FIRE. One mode releases a concuss pulse that disrupts enemies, while the other sends out healing waves that restore teammates in the area. Throw the device, and once it lands, it releases sonic pulses that apply the chosen effect.

The healing side feels similar to Skye’s supportive playstyle, but the delivery method is different. Instead of a channel heal, M-Pulse works like a deployable device placed on the ground. The concuss option functions more like Breach utility, giving Miks the ability to disrupt enemies before a push. Because the device affects an area, it works best when thrown into tight choke points or directly onto a spike site during executes.

Waveform (E)

EQUIP Waveform to open a map targeter that lets you mark smoke locations across the map. After placing the markers, deploy the smokes at those positions. On PC, you place markers with FIRE and deploy them with ALT-FIRE, while consoles reverse the input order.

The targeting interface works very much like Brimstone or Clove‘s smoke placement system. The main difference is how quickly the smokes appear. Miks’ smokes deploy instantly once activated, which can help teams block vision during fast pushes. This makes Waveform strong for coordinated attacks where timing matters, such as cutting off sightlines the moment your team enters a site.

Bassquake (X)

EQUIP Bassquake and charge it before unleashing a powerful wave of Sonic Radiance in front of you. The blast knocks enemies backward while also deafening and slowing anyone caught in the path.

In terms of battlefield impact, Bassquake sits somewhere between Breach’s disruptive ultimates and Harbor’s large area control abilities. The knockback and debuff effects can completely break defensive setups or force enemies out of key positions. Because the ability pushes opponents away, it is especially strong when clearing tight spaces or creating an opening for a site entry.
