This method will let you access the Roblox website from your browser on the device. Keep in mind that there is no official way to access the free-to-play game on Nintendo Switch for now.

How To Play Roblox On Nintendo Switch

Warning: This method will run a third-party public DNS server that makes the Switch open a web browser. You cannot run games from Roblox website as they have strictly made playing games from app player mandatory.

In case you want to access the multi-game platform on your Switch, you can do so from the web browser of your Nintendo device. Follow the steps below to learn how to run Roblox on Nintendo Switch:

• On your Home page, select the “System Settings” option.
• Select “Internet” > “Internet Settings” to find your registered network.
• From the registered network menu, select “Change Settings” > “DNS Settings”.
• Now change “Automatic” to “Manual” and select “Primary DNS” with the A Button.
• You can now hold down the B Button to delete the DNS and make the value 0.
• You can now enter 045.055.142.122 in the DNS section and press OK.
• You can similarly change the secondary DNS, click Save, and press Connect.
• After the SwitchBru DNS Page opens, click “Useful Links”, find Roblox.com, and log in to your account.

Roblox Switch Release Date Speculation

Similar to the PS5 release on Roblox, there are rumors that Nintendo Switch might be worried about the high number of young gamers on their console, especially considering recent reports of exploitation on Roblox, another popular platform for children. Exclusivity could have been a reason for the delay but the game being available on multiple new platforms has denied that.

Moreover, a Roblox spokesperson (via The Verge) mentioned there are no “imminent plans” to make their popular social and gaming app available on Nintendo Switch. In May 2021, during Roblox’s Q1 earnings call, CEO Dave Baszucki expressed his vision for Roblox’s future, stating that the platform could potentially expand to consoles like Switch, PlayStation, and Oculus Quest.
