10 Most Anticipated Anime of Spring 2024

The Fall season of anime was amazing, thanks to fantastic anime like Solo Leveling. Of course, the community is devastated that Solo Leveling’s debut season has ended, but there’s so much to look forward to as we head into the Spring 2024 slate. Several incredible anime series are returning with new seasons in the next three months. At the same, some much-awaited anime adaptations such as Kaiju No. 8 will also premiere in Spring this year. If you are wondering what the upcoming months will have to offer in terms of anime, we have got you covered. Let’s check out the most anticipated anime of Spring 2024 here.

1. A Condition Called Love (April 4)

Spring 2023 blessed us with one of the most beautiful romance anime, My Happy Marriage, and now, Spring 2024 is all set to introduce us to a similar anime titled A Condition Called Love. The anime series is adapted from the manga of the same name created by Megumi Morino.

The series is being produced by East Fish Studio, which has worked mostly on key visuals of some popular anime like Black Clover and Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End.

The plot of the romance anime revolves around a girl named Hotaru Hinase. She resists falling in love with someone because she doesn’t want to keep anyone above her family and closest friends. However, one day, she crosses paths with a handsome boy named Hananoi, and since then, her life takes a strange yet beautiful turn.

2. The Misfit of Demon King Academy Season 2 Part 2 (April 12)

The Misfit of Demon King Academy Season 2 Part 1 was one of the most anticipated releases of Winter 2023, as it arrived after a long hiatus due to the delay in production. However, when the anime was released, fans rejoiced to see their beloved characters, especially Anos, after a long wait.

Now that the anime is heading toward the second season’s Part 2, fans are even more desperate as it will cover the events from two of the most significant arcs of the manga.

The previous part was praised for its animation quality and direction, but the upcoming one might receive even more appreciation as it will come with more surprising elements. We’ll see Anos facing greater challenges as the world will once again see the arrival of dragons, whom everyone believed not to exist.

3. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 (April 5)

This is one of the most popular reincarnation anime series falling under the Isekai genre. We see a man named Satoru Mikami struggling to adjust to the new world he has been reincarnated into as a slime; now called Rimuru Tempest. However, with time, he gets so powerful that the anime’s second season concludes with him defeating the most potent Demon Lord and taking his place.

Well, that’s not the end of his story, as now, with the influential position, Rimuru will have more challenges to tackle. There is a chance that he will get backstabbed by someone whom he believes to be his ally. So, the third season will show him distinguishing between his enemies and friends while also working to create a peaceful world.

4. Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Part 2 (April 7)

Here’s another reincarnation anime that’s considered one of the most beautifully visualized series ever created. After impressing fanatics with the incredible animation in Season 2 Part 1, Mushoku Tensei is heading toward the second part, and we are not far from its official release date.

Interestingly, fans were initially worried because of the directorial changes, but when the anime received the amazing trailer, they breathed a sigh of relief.

The first part of the second season featured Redeus and Sylphiette reuniting in the last episode, and now, it’s time to see them embark on a new journey together. This is one of the best isekai anime of the modern time, so don’t miss out.

5. Black Butler- Public School Arc (April 13)

As evident by its name, the upcoming season of Black Butler will bring the events and characters from the manga’s Public School Arc to life. It will take place in the fictional Weston College, which has such strict rules and regulations that even the government can’t interfere in its affairs.

The series’ plot revolves around Detective Ciel and his ally Sebastian as they decide to handle school politics and uncover the dark secrets hidden in the prestigious school’s premises.

6. Kaiju No. 8 (April 13)

Kaiju No. 8 is certainly one of the most anticipated Crunchyroll exclusive projects; well, that’s what fans believe. The manga series came out in 2020, and since then, fans who read it wanted to witness the incredible fight sequences on their screens. Finally, the day is near when we’ll be able to see the monster fights and amazing artwork coming to life.

It’s a tale of a man named Kafka, who fails in the qualifying examination for the Defence Force, so he has to work as a cleaning crew tasked to decompose the remains of Kaiju after battles. However, one day, a small kaiju enters his body and gives him the ability to turn into one of their kind.

7. My Hero Academia Season 7 (May 4)

My Hero Academia’s previous season was dark, a change that was welcomed by fans. However, if we look at the official trailer, we can say that the upcoming season is expected to be darker. It will cover the events from The Star and Stripe Arc, the U.A. Traitor Arc, and the Final War Arc. We will get introduced to Star and Stripe, who will stand alongside Deku in the fight against Shigaraki.

Also, MHA Season 7 will showcase several big battles that will surely make us cheer for our beloved heroes. Also, like the previous season, this one will stick with us for two consecutive cours.

8. Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc (May 12)

Demon Slayer will always be the favorite series for the ones who love to watch vibrant animations. With its top-notch animation quality, Demon Slayer has forced every fan to stay hooked since the first season.

Even though the third season couldn’t impress the fandom in terms of the premise, it would be unfair not to praise its animation. Also, the Swordsmith Village arc has revealed what Nezuko is capable of, so let’s be prepared to see Tanjiro going beyond his limits to protect his sister from the Demon Lord Muzan, one of the if not the strongest characters in Demon Slayer.

Now, the first two episodes of the Hashira training arc were covered in the ‘To the Hashira Training’ movie released recently. The film reminded us that Demon Slayer is one such franchise that always retains its hype, no matter what. So, let’s buckle up as Demon Slayer Season 4 hits our screens soon.

9. Konosuba Season 3 (April 10)

Here’s another fan-favorite Isekai reincarnation anime coming to our screens with a new intriguing season as part of the Spring 2024 anime cycle. Given that the anime’s previous seasons were a crazy rollercoaster ride, we can expect the upcoming season to take a step further.

The first two seasons were animated by Studio DEEN, but the upcoming season will see Studio Drive take over the production responsibilities. This made some fans skeptical. However, the trailers for Konosuba Season 3 revealed that the animation quality hasn’t been compromised.

So, get ready to witness Kazuma as he heads toward his new adventure, which will see him trying to become a monk.

10. Code Geass: Roze of the Recapture (May 10)

Code Geass is a big name that is always discussed within the anime community in high regard. The original anime arrived back in 2007 and took the community by storm. Well, after an extremely long break, the legendary series is returning with a brand-new premise.

Fans of the Code Geass franchise must be happy to learn that Roze of the Recapture will be a four-part anime. The series will cover an original story that’s neither heard nor seen before, so we are intrigued. The new key visual and first trailer made it evident that we’ll get something amazing in terms of animation quality.
