Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Teaser Confirms Roblox’s 99 Nights in the Forest Collab

Epic Games is continuing its streak of collab announcements for Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, with the latest teaser confirming a crossover with popular Roblox game 99 Nights in the Forest. This comes after a code for the Fortnite Discord bot was activated early, leading some players to believe that the devs were hinting at a Fortnite Minecraft crossover.

Much like the Sonic Fortnite collab teaser, Epic recently shared a new short video clip that featured Peely, who could be seen fishing. The character was then approached from behind by a demonic Deer character who is native to Roblox’s 99 Nights in the Forest game, confirming the Fortnite collab.

This also ties into the ‘SurviveTheNight’ code for the Fortnite Discord bot, as surviving 99 nights is the Roblox game’s core loop. However, this has also led to a lot of disappointment from fans, who initially thought that ‘Survive the Night’ was a direct hint to a Fortnite Minecraft collab or even a crossover with the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise.

While the news might be disappointing for some fans, a Fortnite x Roblox 99 Nights in the Forest collab is a much bigger deal than most think.

This is primarily because Fortnite and Roblox have long been staunch rivals, standing as the two main pillars of the metaverse and user-generated content, so much so that the GTA 6 UGC program is using these titles as its main competition. These giants coming together for a collaboration proves that Epic is planning something really special for Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4.

At the time of writing, the full extent of the Fortnite x 99 Nights in the Forest collab is unknown. However, players are likely to see The Deer in the upcoming Fortnite Battle Pass, alongside other characters like Joker from Persona 5 and even Eggman from Sonic.
