- Fortnite Payday crossover arrives in the form of a UEFN experience without any skins or cosmetics.
- Players are not pleased with the crossover, as they expected more than just a custom map.
- The UEFN map is called Heist Escape Roguelike Payday Experience and has a dedicated leaderboard.
Fortnite is finally getting the long-awaited Payday crossover, that, too, before GTA 6. The announcement was made on X on August 10, 2026. This should be a major cause for celebration, but it’s not in the least. Whatever high hopes players have had for this crossover, it’s dead on arrival.
The Payday crossover has arrived, but without any Fortnite skins. There’s no Dallas, Wolf, or any Joy to be found. The characters that make and have made the franchise popular are not part of the collaboration.
What is part of the Fortnite Payday crossover is a UEFN map called “Heist Escape Roguelike: PAYDAY Experience” created by OceanwaveStudio.
The official Payday X page wrote, “As part of our new ‘Creator First’ approach, we’re inviting talented creators to get their hands on the PAYDAY IP and adapt it for different platforms and audiences.”
It’s not what the community wanted last, but it’s better than nothing, we suppose. Think of it this way: this minor crossover could be the foundation for something major in the near future. After all, Epic Games is actively expanding the Metaverse, and Payday would fit in well.
“This might be met with a lot of criticism, but I think this is pretty neat. Plus it gives me more hope that we can finally get payday skins in Fortnite (Please, I am begging you, let it happen),” said DantontheManton on social media platform X.
That said, if you would like to try out the Payday crossover map yourself, here is the UEFN map code (8105-9005-4478). There are three unique heists to partake in co-op, you can claim perks, and mask up as your favorite heister. There’s a leaderboard to climb if you are feeling competitive.
