Epic Games is gearing up to close out Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 with a bang, pulling back the curtain on the highly anticipated Unstable Story Moment. The moment will serve as the narrative bridge into the gaming-themed Chapter 7 Season 4. For now, we finally have the Fortnite Unstable Story Moment Live Event schedule that tells players what they can expect from the event.
Full Fortnite Unstable Story Moment Live Event Schedule Revealed
The Fortnite Unstable live event is set to take place on August 15, 2026, at 2 PM ET. According to leaks from BackersGamesF on X, the rollout for the event will start 30 minutes before, at 1:30 PM ET. Here is a full breakdown of the Fortnite Unstable live event schedule:
- 1:30 PM ET: All damage at the Zero Point Stabilizer is reduced
- 1:55 PM ET: All damage is completely disabled across the board
- 2:00 PM ET: Start of the Unstable live event
- 2:00 PM ET: Mythic Sprites Hour #1 goes live immediately following the event’s conclusion
- 4:00 PM ET: End of Mythic Sprite Hour #1
- 9:00 PM ET: Mythic Sprite Hour #2 begins
- 11:00 PM ET: End of Mythic Sprite Hour #2
Once the event rollout begins at 1:30 PM ET, players will take reduced damage at the Zero Point Stabilizer, as that is the site of the live event. Epic has already confirmed that, after the Unstable Live Event wraps up, players will be able to participate in the Fortnite Mythic Sprite Hour event.
This will allow them to have a higher chance of finding Sprites like the Fortnite Zero Point Sprite and the Grim Sprite before Cortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 ends. Additionally, players will also spawn in with Seven Sliders and a Self-Revive Device.
Apart from the Unstable live event, BackersGamesF also revealed the timeline for the release of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4. Much like any other update, the downtime for Chapter 7 Season 4 is set to begin at 4 AM ET on August 20, 2026. The downtime is expected to last up to 5 hours, allowing Epic to add the new collabs like Sonic the Hedgehog and Persona 5 in Fortnite.
