The teaser comes from Fortnite’s official Discord server, where the developers have shared a mysterious string of messages.
In a new channel titled ‘Hint Transmissions’ in the Fortnite Discord server, Epic dropped messages that stated, ‘All systems nominal.’ However, the text string then devolved into a series of words accompanied by glyphs before ending with the phrase ‘rebootingas.’
This might not look like a clear hint for Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, but if you are a Sonic fan, you know how this ties to Eggman, the iconic villain from the Sonic games.
For players who don’t know, the Sonic fanbase has an ongoing meme revolving around mishearing Eggman saying the word ‘pingas.’ With Epic dropping a new phrase bearing such a strong resemblance to this Eggman reference, that too in the ‘Hint Transmissions’ channel, the developers might be hinting at Eggman’s inclusion in the upcoming Fortnite Battle Pass.
