When Is the Treasure Hour in Fortnite? Pirate Shop Token Event Date

The Fortnite Mini Season is in full swing, and to celebrate, Epic Games is bringing back Power Hour as Treasure Hour, aka Dev Hours. It would seem that the search for the Pirate Shop Token in Fortnite is only going to intensify in the coming days. What Is Fortnite Treasure Hour? (Dev Hour)

Fortnite Treasure Hour, also called Dev Hour, is going to function similarly to “Power Hour” from Chapter 7 Season 4 Override. Every weekend, the drop rate for certain items and Sprites was boosted. In Treasure Hunters Mini Season, we can expect the drop rates for Sprites, weapons, and perhaps even the Fortnite Pirate Shop Token to be slightly boosted.

Hopefully, this makes it easier for players to obtain the Pirate Shop Token, and they don’t need to turn to dubious means like the “Gas Clan Fortnite Method” to get it. Opening Treasure Chests in Fortnite should be more than enough to roll the RNG dice in your favor.

When Is the Next Treasure Hour in Fortnite? Event Date and Time

The next Treasure Hour in Fortnite is expected to be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026, as confirmed by the devs. If Epic Games follows the same pattern as they did for Fortnite Sprite events, we can expect the next Treasure Hour to kick off at these times:

• First Session: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM ET
• Second Session: 9:00 PM – 11:00 PM ET

These are just tentative times, but since they were followed throughout Override, they could follow suit now, too. Either way, with Fortnite Treasure Hunters ending on December 5, 2026, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to attend several Treasure Hours.

Will Pirate Shop Tokens Be Buffed in Fortnite Treasure Hour?

We cannot say with certainty if the Pirate Shop Tokens’ drop rate will be buffed in Fortnite Treasure Hours, but we are quite confident they will. Epic is increasing drop rates for Fortnite Treasure Hunt Chest rewards.

Although Treasure Hours have been confirmed by Fortnite’s dev Tofu Chris (Senior Director), he hasn’t revealed any information about what to expect.

Based on past Power Hours, we can assume that drop rates for the new Fortnite Sprites in Treasure Hunters are going to be buffed. A new Fortnite Map Fragment will also be added to the island, alongside the Cursed Sprite variant.

Finally, we could see minor map changes related to the Fortnite Lil Uzi Vert collab, which should be centered around Fortune’s Fort POI. Other than this, we need to wait for Epic Games to reveal what they have planned for players.
