The holiday season is here, and the world of gaming, as each year, is looking mighty merrier this time around as well. As The Game Awards wrapped up this past weekend and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 took home the most trophies, certain other nominees shone in their own categories, like Arc Raiders, and won a trophy as well.
However, if you’d like to play some of these games, Epic Games’ Holiday Sale is now live on Epic Games Store on PC and Mobile, offering massive discounts on titles such as Arc Raiders, KCD 2, Split Fiction, Alan Wake 2, and many more. But if you’re a fan of free games, then every year Epic also grants some freebies during the holiday season to its player base.
These games are dropped each week and are only available until the next drop. The drops are kept a secret until the last moment, and in the past, Epic has dropped some heavy AAA titles, such as GTA 5, for free for fans. This year as well, Epic Games’ holiday free games return, and even though they’re a mystery, we’ve got the full rundown, thanks to leakers, on what games you can get.
Every Free Mystery Game in Epic Games Holiday Sale 2025, Leaked
Epic Games Store mystery games during its Holiday Sale are some of the most anticipated drops on PC gaming storefronts that players are always looking forward to. This year, starting with Hogwarts Legacy, Epic kicked off its Holiday Sale with a strong start.
Hogwarts Legacy is the first game that was added for free on December 11, and is available until December 18 to claim, alongside a free Fortnite x Harry Potter back bling that players can get.
However, if you’re wondering what the next set of free games could be in Epic Games Holiday Sale 2025, we’ve got a full list right here, alongwith its drop date:

That’s right, the list contains some heavy hitters like Total War, LEGO Batman, Detroit: Become Human, Mortal Kombat 11, and finally Red Dead Redemption 2, which you’ll soon be able to claim for free in the Epic Games Store. While the sale currently will drop its next game on Thursday, December 18, the drops following that will be a daily 24-hour drop, which means you’ll only have a day to claim the free game.
While this is merely just a leak and the list has not been confirmed by Epic, take this with a grain of salt, as we’ll keep this section updated with all the games that are included in the promotional period.
