  • a lawyer says:

It is legal to keep this record when the “threat crime” is made by telephone call, and it makes it difficult for us to make a voice record, which is the only prostitution on the phone.

  • Ed says:

Why are there no truly “automatic” call recorders. In order to record a incoming or outgoing call numbers have to be dialed in to or buttons need to be pressed. I want one that just records, preferably to the phone itself and not to a cloud.

    • _bby says:

Because it’s against the law in some countries

      • Maks says:

It is against the law to memorize my own phone calls, so I can later listen to them and write down any details I maybe forgot after few days? I am a business user so for me, it is the most important, to be able to listen my calls with my clients and hear again exactly what I prommised to them. By recording my private phone calls and keeping them private for ever, is agains the law? I won’t share them. My recordings are ment for personal notes only. Sadly, this is the main reason I will never use iOS and will stick to Android which has no issues with such a stupid law interpretation. How Apple then allows public phone calls, where everybody on a bus hears what I talk?
