How to Watch Attack on Titan in the Correct Order

Every anime fan, at this point, either knows about or has watched Attack on Titan. Throughout its ten-year run, the anime kept us at the edge of our seats and offered a remarkable experience that’s difficult to surpass. The anime recently ended its ten-year run in November 2023, and fans who are yet to embark on their epic adventure should start polishing their ODM gear and get ready to binge-watch the anime. However, be warned as the release of the final seasons was heavily convoluted as they were released in multiple parts, which has even baffled veteran fans about the watch order. So, if you’re looking to watch the Attack on Titan anime in the correct order, don’t worry, I’ve got your back.

Attack on Titan Anime Watch Order (Updated 2024)

Note: Beside the main anime, Attack on Titan also includes OVAs, spin-offs, and movies. We have only included the canon and anime-only features that are important to the story in the watch order.

Attack on Titan is a straightforward anime when compared to series like FATE, Monogatari, etc. However, the order towards the end can be a bit confusing, but we have created a perfect watch order list, which is easier to understand here.

Attack on Titan Season 1 (Shingeki no Kyojin Season 1)

• Episodes: 1-25

Attack on Titan OAD (Shingeki no Kyojin OVA)

• Episode 3.5 – Ilse’s Notebook: Notes from a Scout Regiment Member – Must Watch as this episode is based on manga chapter 18.5 titled Side Story: Ilse’s Notebook.
• Episode 3.25 – A Sudden Visitor: The Torturous Curse of Adolescence – comedic OVA featuring some fake volume previews created by Isayama. It can be watched for the comedic relief it offers, which is something we never see in the main anime.
• Episode 3.75 – Distress (Konnan) — Anime-only episode that explores the characters in the early stage of the story. Watch it if you want to see more about your favorite characters.

Attack on Titan: No Regrets OVA (Shingeki no Kyojin: Kuinaki Sentaku)

• Episode 0.5A – A Choice with No Regrets: Part One – Must Watch as it is based on a spin-off visual novel and manga titled the same which features Levi’s origin story.
• Episode 0.5B – A Choice with No Regrets: Part Two – Must Watch since it’s based on the same visual novel/ manga mentioned above.

Attack on Titan: Lost Girls OVA Part 1 (Shingeki no Kyojin: Lost Girls)

• Episode 16.5A – Wall Sina, Goodbye: Part One – Must Watch. It is based on a spin-off manga titled Attack on Titan: Lost Girls and explores Annie’s character.
• Episode 16.5B – Wall Sina, Goodbye: Part Two – Must Watch. It is based on the same spin-off manga mentioned above.
