Developer Pawprint Studio’s free-to-play RPG, Aniimo, finally has a release date set for September 16, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, iOS, and Android. Similar to the pals in Palworld 1.0, the game will feature a variety of creatures called Aniimos, each with its own evolution system.
In addition to the release date, PlayStation pre-orders for brand-new cosmetic packs are available on the Aniimo PS Store page. Players can purchase two Aniimo editions from the storefront: the Advanced Edition for $9.99 and the Collector’s Edition for $19.99. These editions include exclusive cosmetics, but the base game will be free to play.
Publisher Kingsglory has also released a new pre-order trailer for PS5 version, showcasing the game’s various mechanics and the cosmetic packs. Here’s what each editions include:
- Advanced Edition:
- Fluffy Friend x1
- Advanced Companion Handbook x1
- Prismana Aniimo Egg x1

- Collector’s Edition:

Kingsglory describes Aniimo as a next-gen creature-catching RPG set on the continent of Idyll. The goal is to collect unique and special Aniimos to solve intricate puzzles, win battles against other Aniimos and Pathfinders, and evolve them.
The publisher has also confirmed a PvPvE mode, titled “Egg Heist”, letting players join a team and fight real-time battles across multiple regions in the Lost Isles. In addition to creature-catching, the RPG also features farming mechanics, allowing players to build their Homeland into an immersive paradise alongside their friends.
Aniimo is joining a month packed with major releases in 2026, including Control Resonant and Marvel’s Wolverine. However, as a free-to-play experience available on both consoles and mobile devices, it should quickly attract its own player base.
