All 5-star Wuthering Waves Characters
5-star characters in Wuthering Waves are the most powerful ones that players will mostly try to get. Most of them are available for a limited time and can be obtained from their respective Wuthering Waves Banners. Other than them, there are a few 5-star characters that can be obtained from the Permanent or Standard banner. Here are all the 5-star characters listed:
Sigrika

Sigrika is the newly released Aero DPS character in Wuthering Waves 3.2, sharing the same element as Varka in Genshin Impact. She is the best DPS in the game as of now, and she works great with Echo-type damage, making team building fun around her. Pair her with teammates who boost Echo damage and benefit from Energy Regen to amplify her output.
Luuk Herssen

Spectro DPS Luuk Herssen has one of the coolest gameplay combos. His gameplay centers on performing various combos mid-air, utilising stacks, and increasing the damage of his burst.
Aemeath

Aemeath is a 5-star Fusion DPS who currently features in the top tier of our Wuthering Waves tier list. She has a very complex, yet powerful kit that can be difficult to understand and execute. However, once you get used to her gameplay, she can melt through opponents.
Mornye

Every DPS WuWa character needs great support, and Mornye fulfills the role perfectly. She is a Fusion Sustain character that can soak damage, while granting powerful team buffs when enemies are staggered or broken.
Lynae

Lynae is one of the best Wuthering Waves characters who can be utilised in overworld exploration and battles. As a 5-star Spectro resonator, she provides some of the best damage buffs and also deals plenty of sub DPS damage, working best with Tune Break characters.
Chisa

Chisa is a Havoc-based WuWa character and also the best supporter in the game. She is an all-in-one package that provides debuffing, grouping, shielding, and healing at the same time. Her attack patterns are quite similar to Nefer in Genshin Impact.
Qiuyuan

Qiuyuan is an Aero 5-star hybrid sub DPS that can dish out damage while also buffing the entire team. He can enhance team Echo Skill damage and grants allies Crit Damage bonuses based on his own Crit Rate, making him a must-have character.
Galbrena

Galbrena, also known as the Fiend of Ever-Burning Flames, is a Fusion main DPS character in Wuthering Waves. She fights alongside her pet Chimera. Her kit is a bit difficult to understand, making her difficult to use for new players. She uses a Pistol as her weapon, and her attack patterns are similar to that of Clorinde in Genshin Impact.
Iuno

Iuno is a sub-DPS and healer who can take on heavy attackers and shield-based WuWa, especially Augusta. She can switch between melee and ranged attacks, making her very fun to use. Her burst heals allies and provides a powerful team-wide damage boost when shields are active, similar to Baizhu.
Augusta

Augusta is a 5-star Electro DPS character in Wuthering Waves who can deal damage by manipulating time. Her damage mostly comes from heavy attack combos, enhanced skills, and precise team rotations. If her resources are managed properly, she can shine as one of the best DPS in the game.
Phrolova

Phrolova has a very unique gameplay that revolves around controlling her puppet. She is a Havoc Sub-DPS character that works best when off-field, maximizing puppet damage.
Lupa

Lupa is a Fusion character in WuWa with a huge, broad blade that resembles a flagpole. She acts as a hybrid support and an off-field follow-up DPS, focusing on mid-air attacks, providing team-wide buffs, and follow-up attacks when allies use their Resonance Liberation. We can say that she’s a lot like Arlecchino in Genshin Impact.
Cartethyia

Cartethyia is considered one of the best Aero DPS characters in Wuthering Waves, as she scales with HP and is very easy to build. Her kit focuses on generating and absorbing swords to trigger form changes, enabling stylish and flexible combat. New players can pair her with Chixia and Aero Rover for an easy yet effective team.
Ciaccona

With powerful support capabilities, Ciaconna is mainly used with Erosion characters in Wuthering Waves. Despite being an Aero support, she can deal plenty of damage. Her kit is based on stacking Erosion, generating buffs, and extending her support through her burst. She also looks like the female version of Venti from Genshin Impact.
Zani

Ever since its release, Zani has become a fan-favorite character in Wuthering Waves. She has a very high Spectro damage, and it scales based on her two modes. She also excels at parrying, which is one of the core mechanics in the game.
Cantarella

Cantarella is a Havoc support and healer that works best with WuWa characters of a similar element, like Chamellia or Carlaua. Use her as a healer and coordinated attacker, while boosting team performance with buffs and damage amplification.
Phoebe

Phoebe is a decent DPS, but she is no longer viable due to her outdated kit and multipliers. However, she can be useful in certain teams as a damage dealer and debuffer.
Brant

Brant has a high Fusion DPS, but it can be complex due to its stat management. He can deal plenty of Fusion damage, but only when built properly with the right echo investment. His design is similar to Ifa in Genshin Impact.
Roccia

Similar to most sub-DPS characters in Wuthering Waves, Roccia can buff team members while dealing damage of her own. She works best with Havoc characters that get a heavy attack damage buff and attack bonuses based on her Crit Rate.
Carlotta

Carlotta uses a Pistol, which feels more like a shotgun to deal Glacio damage. She is best suited for single-target damage, especially bosses. If you are a new player and looking for a Glacio DPS, then go for her as she’s fairly easy to use, with a simple kit. If you liked using Carlotta, then try Navia in Genshin Impact.
Camellya

Camellya is a 5-star one of the best Havoc DPS characters in Wuthering Waves that excels in aerial combat and strong AoE damage. Her playstyle involves switching between modes that increase her damage output through her signature spinning attack. Her kit is slightly complex, but it can be easy after using it for a while.
Shorekeeper

ShoreKeeper is a 5-star Spectro character that is very similar to Verina. She can heal and buff the damage of others with her skill, Outro, and Burst. Build her with plenty of Energy Recharge, and HP% for maximum buffs.
Xiangli Yao

Xiangli Yao was one of the first limited-time characters in Wuthering Waves that was given out for free. As of now, you can no longer get it for free, except when his banner reruns. He is a decent Electro DPS that’s good to have as a free character, but is widely powercrept by others. He attacks, and gameplay reminds me of Flins in Genshin Impact.
Zhezhi

Zhezhi is a Glacio character in WuWa that focuses on dealing damage over time (DOT). Her kit involves building her Forte Gauge through basic attacks and her Intro Skill, which can be used to summon bird-like imprints and teleport around. The position of the imprints determines her damage. Her skill attacks are quite similar to those of Xianyun in Genshin Impact, except that she cannot fly in Wuwa.
Changli

Changli is a 5-star Fusion sub-DPS centered on amplifying the damage of her team through her unique skills. Her Outro skill gives the next character a 20% Fusion damage increase and a 25% Resonance Liberation DMG increase for 10 seconds.
Jinhsi

Jinhsi is a burst nuke Spectro DPS that can focus on nuking enemies. The damage of the nuke increases based on the “Incandescent Stacks, “gained through her own damage and coordinated attacks from other team members. If you have her, then we recommend farming materials for Jinhsi as she has serious damage.
Jiyan

Jiyan is a 5-star Aero character wielding a Broadblade, and the first limited-time character released in Wuthering Waves 1.0. He is a DPS-focused character with strong on-field DPS skills. He is the Midnight Ranger’s commander and is described as righteous and resolute of heart.

Verina

Verina is a 5-star Spectro character wielding a Rectifier, and she is considered the best character to reroll in Wuthering Waves. She is still considered one of the best units in the game ever since the game’s release.
Encore

Encore is a 5-star Fusion character with the Rectifier weapon type. She is also a DPS character, with a decent, slow damage kit. She is very strong if you are starting, and can quickly melt early game bosses easily.
All 4-Star Wuthering Waves Characters
Other than the 5-star characters, Wuthering Waves also features a strong roster of 4-star characters. The 4-star characters will be available on both the Standard and Limited banners of Wuthering Waves, alongside the 5-star characters. They are slightly less powerful when compared to 5-stars, but can work miraculously if paired properly with a team.
Youhu

If you love RNG-based WuWa characters, then Yohoo is best suited for you. As a 4-star Glacio healer, she can create random objects through various actions when allies deal coordinated attacks. Consuming the created items heals allies and amplifies attack damage. She can also provide a 28-second 100% damage buff to coordinated attacks, making her a great 4-star support. We can say she’s the Escoffier of this game.
Lumi

Lumi is a 4-star buffer and support that works with almost any Wuthering Waves characters. Her kit revolves around managing her Forte Circuit while buffing attack. Her Outro Skill can provide upto 38% Resonance Skill boost for allies, working best with any skill-focused DPS.
Buling

Buling is a great Electro DPS character that can be extremely useful if you are a new player lacking any 5-star DPS. Build her with Electro damage boosting Echoes, and a decent 4-star rectifier to make the most out of her.
Aalto

Aalto is a 4-star WuWa character with the Aero element. He uses Pistols as his weapon and has a movement and evasion-focused DPS kit. He is the leader of the Black Shores Union and is considered Erratic and unpredictable, like Albedo from Genshin Impact.
Baizhi

Baizhi is a 4-star Glacio character in Wuthering Waves who uses a rectifier as a weapon. Her kit is healing-focused, with many team-wide heals available. She is an archaeologist of the Huanglong Academy and symbiotically connected with the Remnant called You’tan.
Chixia

Chixia is a 4-star Fusion WuWa character and she uses Pistols as a weapon. She has a DPS-focused kit and can be a good sub-DPS with range for your early teams. Chixia is a member of the Ministry of Development and she is described as enthusiastic and passionate.
Danjin

Danjin is a 4-star Havoc character wielding a Sword in Wuthering Waves. She is considered one of the strongest 4-star DPS in the game, as her damage scales off HP. Danjin is a member of the Midnight Rangers and is described as strong-willed.
Mortefi

Mortefi is a 4-star Fusion character who wields a Pistol in combat. He is a very strong off-field DPS character, with abilities increasing the damage output of on-field units. Mortefi is a Tacetite Specialist from the New Federation, dwelling in Huanglong. He has a similar gameplay to Xingqui and Durin in Genshin Impact.
Sanhua

Sanhua is a 4-star Glacio character, wielding a sword, and an on-field DPS character with some decent damage capabilities. Sanhua is a Hierarch Guard and has a cold personality.
Taoqi

Taoqi is a 4-star Havoc character in Wuthering Waves, and she wields a Broadblade as a weapon. She is a support-type character and can provide shields to mitigate damage to allies. Taoqi is the acting chief officer of the Ministry of Development, and she has inherited the Might of Xuanwu.
Yangyang

Yangyang is a 4-star Aero character wielding a Sword in Wuthering Waves, and she is considered one of the weaker characters. However, she can act as a good sub-DPS in the early game. She is also a member of the Midnight Rangers and is known to be an expert in acquiring information.
Yuanwu

Yuanwu is a 4-star Electro character wielding a Gauntlet as a weapon. He is a good off-field sub-DPS and support character. Yuanwu is the boss at the Nightingale Tea House.
