The Batman Part 2 features multiple actors we have already seen in the first movie, and now, there are rumors of some exciting new faces to be seen in the upcoming movie. After spending most of his career being known as the “Twilight Guy,” Robert Pattinson finally overcame that identity when he put on the cape and cowl and became The Batman. Initially, people were not really confident in him, but now, no one can wait to see him return as the superhero. While his return is confirmed as Bruce Wayne/The Batman, the details regarding the movie and the course its plot will take are kept under tight wraps. So, let’s wait and see what the film brings us.
2. Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth
Batman can’t be the hero he is without his trusty butler, Alfred Pennyworth, and in this adaptation of the hero, Alfred Pennyworth is played by the veteran actor Andy Serkis, who has appeared in multiple chartbuster movies across the years. Now, he is all set to return to our screens as probably the favourite house help in the world of fiction, and we can’t wait to see him in The Batman Part 2.
3. Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Jim Gordon
The Batman Part 2 brings us a version of the Caped Crusader who is rather new to Gotham City and hence, is not exactly accepted by everyone. However, this isn’t just something that is a problem for The Batman; it’s also a problem for Jim Gordon, played by Jeffrey Wright, who trusts the Batman, but no one else in the police force does.
So, it was a struggle for him in the first movie to keep things under control whenever the Bat and the police force came face to face. However, after what Batman did in the first movie, there’s a good chance that in The Batman Part 2, Jim Gordon’s job is a bit easier.
4. Colin Farrell as Oz Cobb/The Penguin
One of the rather interesting appearances in The Batman Part 2 will be from Colin Farrell as Oz Cobb, or the Penguin. Not too long ago, HBO gave us a limited series around The Penguin, and it turned out to be one of the most successful shows of 2024. By the end of the show, we see a Batsignal go off in the sky, which was the first hint towards his apperance in the upcoming movie, but later on, it was confirmed by Colin Farrell himself.
5. Barry Keoghan as The Joker
While The Batman was widely loved all over the world, fans have had one major complaint about the movie. By the end of The Batman, we see a short apperance of The Joker, but a significant clip was cut from the movie and was released later on by director Matt Reeves. In the deleted scenes, Barry Keoghan appeared as the Joker being interrogated by Batman. Now, there are rumors revolving around Barry Keoghan returning as the Joker in the cast of Batman Part 2
6. Scarlett Johansson as Unknown
A while back, a report surfaced that took the internet by storm, claiming that Scarlett Johansson is actively in talks to appear in The Batman Part 2. As of now, it is unknown what role she would play if everything turns out to be positive, but this jump from Marvel to DC could prove to be quite beneficial for the latter. However, whatever the case might be, we will wait for more updates, and if a confirmation comes our way from the actress or DC, we will let you guys know ASAP.
7. Sebastian Stan as Harvey Dent
Another major update came our way quite recently, where it was revealed that another major actor from Marvel, Sebastian Stan, is in talks to appear in The Batman Part 2. Rumors are suggesting that he would appear as Harvy Dent in a movie, but as of now, there is no confirmation from either party. However, once again, this jump from Marvel to DC would be really beneficial for DC further, solidifying its presence in superhero cinema.
