Xiaomi's HyperOS 2.0 launch has been officially announced for October 29, 2024, by the company's CEO, Lei Jun. The new Android skin will be unveiled alongside the Mi 15, Xiaomi Pad 7 series and Watch S4. HyperOS 2.0 will include an improved HyperConnect framework with system-level AI capabilities, smoother animations, and AI image editing features, based on Android 15.
Xiaomi is betting big on HyperOS as it yet again highlighted all the new features and improvements coming to the same in the coming months. HyperOS was announced globally during the Xiaomi 14 Series launch but in the recent keynote that was streamed on Xiaomi India YouTube channel, the company briefed the new features and announced update timelines for India devices.
