5 Years in, and I Feel Ray Tracing Is Still a Letdown

Ray tracing has been a major innovation over the last five years. However, today's mid-range graphics cards while supporting RT sometimes aren't capable of running games with ray-tracing enabled in demanding titles like Hogwarts Legacy and Alan Wake 2. Plus, games look amazing without ray-tracing enabled. For console gamers, choosing the performance mode with 60FPS is the preferred choice of many including myself given the smoother gaming experience albeit without ray tracing. After more than 5 years, I expected more out of this so-called "biggest advancement" in graphics!
