OnePlus has launched its affordable OnePlus 12R smartphone that brings the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. It also offers LPDDR5X RAM on all variants, but UFS 4.0 storage is reserved for the 256GB variant only. The display is super-bright that can deliver a peak brightness of 4500 nits, and 1600 nits in HBM mode. The phone packs a 50MP Sony IMX890 image sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies, there is a 16MP camera. OnePlus 12R has a 5,500 mAh battery and can be fully charged in just 26 minutes.
After launching in China a few days ago, OnePlus 12, along with the OnePlus 12R is coming to India (and other global markets) and as confirmed by the company, this will happen on January 23, 2024.
