In Nothing's latest community update, the company has finally confirmed they're bringing a new phone dubbed Phone (2a), codenamed Aerodactyl. Phone (2a)'s existence was first confirmed months ago by leakers on X (formerly Twitter). Additionally, Nothing's sub-brand CMF has also teased new Neckband Pro and Buds.
Nothing is planning to launch the Phone 2a, a mid-range spin-off of the Nothing Phone (2) aimed at the budget segment. Leaks suggest the phone may feature a 120Hz OLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset, and NothingOS 2.5 based on Android 14 out of the box. The budget-centric Nothing Phone 2a will include 50MP dual rear cameras and a 32MP front camera. It will also have a redesigned back design with three glyph lights, a horizontal camera layout, and more.
